There are over 100 types of lilies out there but we have the most rare Lily of all! Meet Lily, this gorgeous gal came to us from one of our partner shelters and they had nothing but good things to say about her. Lily can be a little nervous so a family that can be patient and understand that she needs a little time to warm up, we also know that Lily prefers to be the only pet in home - but has lived with kids so she'd love human buds! That being said, dog appropriate children will be the best to help her relax in her new home. If you're looking to add a beautiful flower to your family tree - then come meet Lily at our North location today!

Story
Charlie Murphy really is the sweetest thing! This sweet boy was surrendered when he got to be too old for his family. Fortunately, Charlie Murphy found his way to a happy and loving foster home and he’s settling in nicely… truth be told- Charlie Murphy always seems to be settled in. He has also never met a human, cat, or dog that he didn’t like (all animals still must be tested as they are still animals). Charlie Murphy is crate trained but he will still sometimes lift his leg inside which foster family has been working on. Being that he was only neutered recently, old habits can be harder to fight but they can still be managed. Please give this loving and loyal boy a chance. Charlie Murphy is the dog they were thinking of when they dubbed the phrase “man’s best friend.” Apply today to meet your new best friend! https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SWEE/Dog

I am right here in Boerne, TX waiting to find my forever home!! HaHa.. My name fits me perfectly as I am quite the little lover!! I LOVE hoomans and hanging out together with my person is my favorite activity. I LOVE snuggling on the couch getting tummy scratches.....ahhhhhhh! At 2 years young and 58 pounds, I am a perfect Medium doggy for all of your adventures in life...whether it be am extreme hike in the mountains or a stroll to the local coffee shop. I walk well on leash, know how to sit, lie down, wait, and fetch. I am compltely housetrained, crate trained, and understand a lot of human speak. Did I mention that I LOVE playing in water? Whether it be a swim in the river, a kayak float on the lake or a run through the sprinklers, H2O is my favorite element. My Mama dog was a beautiful Aussie mix and it appears that my Papa was a Labrador retriever!! My black, shiny coat is sleek, extremely short and low maintenance and shedding!! I am great with other dogs...I am just a very companionable dog!! I do need to make a confession; I am teriified of going to the vet!! Foster Mum doesn't know what happened that could make me so afraid of those in the medical profession, but our current vet comes out to the house. No scary trips to the vet for me!! As much as I LOVE my foster Mum, we would both like to be saying "Parting is such sweet sorrow"...so I can make you and yours my new family :) So, whether you are named Capulet or Montague, or some other name in between, I hope that you read my bio and decide to add me to your family!!

I'm at that perfect age and size for lots of fun times! I will do great with an active family that would like to share their activities with a special companion...that's right, with ME!! I am very playful and one of my favoritest things is playing tug with you. If you toss my toy I will bring it back to you, to play tug some more. And repeat!! Prada and Gucci are a bonded pair of sisters that were rescued from South America and brought to the US. They survived living off the streets and have blossomed into beautiful gals. Their foster mom says this: Prada and Gucci are dependent on each other. They survived from two starving puppies and have grown into sweet loving sisters. They are always touching or laying next to or on one another. One is never far behind the other. I’ve seen them gain confidence and start to understand what the good life is. Seeing them begin to comprehend and cherish the warmth of a nice dog bed and the pets of a loving human has been a real treat. They are quickly gaining confidence! They are currently with their older foster brother Reno, a husky mix. They copy his every move and he is a good teacher. He has housebroken them, thought them to sit and crate trained them. Foster sister Molly, a Siamese cat, is unbothered by the sweet girls and they do not even seem to notice her. They are gentle in nature and love to be cuddled and given attention. They like to play and wrestle in the backyard and come in for a nice long nap after romping around. They are not codependent on their foster human in the yard and are happy to go exploring together and keep busy with themselves. Gucci is the runt and about 5 pounds less and a few inches shorter than Prada. They are a dynamic duo ready to fill someone’s home with unconditional love. These girls have been through so much in their shorts lives that they deserve to spend the rest of it together in a loving fur-ever home. Could that be a home with YOU?!!!

Meet Anna JuM Kermit the frog says it ain't easy being green, but it's even harder being a black dog. And as if that wasn't enuff, it ain't easy being Anna either. Case in point. I'm sure y'all herd of a little ditty called Frozen right? It's a movie for human puppies, children, children is the word. There were two girl stars in that motion picture but who do all the lil human chicks wanna be for Howloween? Elsa. Elsa. Elsa. With her porcelain skin and shimmer turquoise gown. Whelp!!! What about Anna? She exists, she helped, she's brave. Notice the Annas of the world folks, you need us! I'm a lil lady dog, with a 30 pound body and I'll put every ounce of that dirty 30 into my 100 yard dashes when I black swan dive into your arms. I love hugs. Love 'em. I'm listed as part Corgi part Lab, but who knows! You don't have to be pure bread to be a silly loaf, you can be full of muttsterious ingredients and be a Wonder bread! I'm a favorite at rescue camp due to my go get 'em attitude. I willingly walk on leash and am crate trained. I have good recall and will sit for a hot dog, it's a wiggly sit but at least I'm trying to contain myself. I'm fun with other dogs. I keep up with the long legged big dogs when they gallop through the pasture, I don't let being a miniature pony throw salt on my game. Speaking of salt, let's throw some on the ice and melt away the frozen to make way for Anna banana the wonder bread dog. (from my friends, the rescuers... Anna is a great girl, once she knows and trusts you. She is best in a no children (at all) home. She gets nervous when leashing her as well but we have tricks for that ;) She has a vive for life that matches no other, but she does have her quirks. She needs to be met several times before taking her home ;) **Local Adoption Only Local in the State of Texas 200.00

Story
Taylor is sweet but shy lab mix. He is about 35-40 lbs and about 4 years old. He was rescued from a hoarding situation of about 90 dogs, so he spent most of his life fighting for his food and not being socialized. Despite this, he has not shown any signs of aggression towards us or our other animals. We can see that he really just wants to be the BESTEST boy!! It has taken him a few weeks to warm up to us, and even then he has a ways to go before we can take him out on a leash to socialize him. He is potty trained and only had issues with marking when he first arrived, but has since stopped. He is crate trained and views his crate as his safe space when nervous or scared. He is such a sweet boy and would love a quiet FUREVER home with preferably a confident dog sibling to show him the way. He will need an adopter who is extremely patient and will let Taylor warm up in his own time. It can take months for a dog like him to be 100% comfortable in his new surroundings, but he deserves that chance. You won't regret taking the time for him because inside he is really a little goofball, just waiting to come out :) Please help us find a FUREVER home for sweet Taylor. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

Ok, so I have the Yin for your yang. Except I am no Feng shui expert...so, I will give you the first half of your Feng. And u figure out the rest please! Too much stress for an older dog! I actually came as a three pack of girls. Each of us is older, not well socialized and physically we were in ruff shape :( So the rescue saved us at the last minute from a rural shelter, where we would have been euthanized without a second thought.. I am A black lab mix, a solid 73# of sweet girl, at 7 yes ol I do look a little ruff, but if u look at my pictures on the plea you will see how much better I look!! I am the most social if all three. I am good with other dogs, but keep the younger ones with others, I am lazy and don't need a whippersnapper harassing me, lol. I am ready for my retirement home, so hurry and apply soon! I have my tropical shirts ready for my fruity drink! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 ( includes transport to your area)

Is it obvious that my appetite is insatiable? Well, I'm on the lookout for a family who can satisfy not only my hunger but also my heart. Meet me, an incredibly good-natured boy who's around 3 years old, a delightful blend of Lab and Shepherd breeds. I embarked on an epic journey all the way from across the vast landscapes of Texas to find a compassionate rescue that appreciates my charming squishiness. Now, here's the twist-I'm patiently awaiting that extraordinary family, the ones who will adore me and embrace every ounce of my gooeyness. Whether you're a brownie enthusiast, a belly-rub aficionado, or a household bursting with little and big humans, I'll fit right in. My affection knows no bounds; I have an undying love for dogs and people alike. Food, oh glorious food, has a special place in my heart, and it's safe to say that belly rubs are my ultimate weakness. So, if you're a family that knows how to whip up delectable treats and offer endless belly-scratching sessions, congratulations-you're officially my new family! Just remember, the first step to forever companionship is to apply for adoption. I eagerly anticipate the day when my new family will sweep me off my paws and into their loving embrace. The clock is ticking, and I am here, patiently waiting for you! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Hope:feeling optimism or a desire that something will happen, to desire and consider possible. Hope's hope is simple; love and a forever home! Hopes is an amazing girl whose life started out REALLY rough. She was saved during the Covid quarantine in 2020 and was incredibly scared and obviously had not had love or HOPE for her whole life....(she is 4 yrs old) She was taken in by a foster who specializes in feral dogs and stayed with her for almost a year, until HER life was turned upside down and Hopes had to come back to the rescue. Luckily, Hopes had developed social skills and some trust over that time and when she returned to the rescue, she was 100 miles ahead of where she had come from... NOW, she has become one of the rescue's favorite girls! She is a sweet girl who comes to us for love and treats. She wants nothing more than to be loved and spoiled and gives her affection out freely :) She is a teeny girl, maybe 25#, we think a "mini" lab ;) and has the sweetest face. Hopes is good with other dogs (would do best in a home with another confident and playful dog) and would be best in a home with adults only or with much older kids who will give her the time and space to get comfortable. What you will get in return for the right home is LOVE and GOOFINESS from a girl whose life handed her LOTS of lemons, and she made SWEET LEMONADE from :):) Local adoption only $200 (in TX)

Story
Mavis was rescued from a fast-kill, small-town, dog pound. She was underweight and had skin problems from the nasty dirty greasy collar that was around her neck. She is a different dog now. A little pudgy at 70 pounds, but with a beautiful and fluffy coat. She is a golden retriever mix and is estimated to be around 5 years old. Mavis is crate trained, house trained, well-behaved in the house, walks well on a leash, and rides well in a vehicle. Mavis loves children and all people. She will sit at your feet and wait for pets. Mavis gets along with most dogs and loves to play. (We have one female dog that doesn't like Mavis so she likes to agitate that dog whenever she can LOL). Mavis is active and she likes to bark at squirrels. Mavis loves walks and playing with toys and other dogs. We do crate her at night but she does not need to be crated. Mavis is sweet, gentle, and loving. She is a wonderful dog. We do think she was beaten because she is scared of sticks and other things that might be used to hit her. And we do not understand why someone would hit such a good dog. Mavis must be in the house as a loved member of the family. Mavis did run out the gate once and took off exploring. We had to chase her down with a vehicle and caught up to her by the post office. So she cannot be trusted off-leash, and definitely needs a fenced yard to run and play. Mavis is healthy. She is spayed, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. Mavis has been treated for heartworms and they are now dead. She is on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Mavis' adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport via Rescue Road Trips for pickup in Washington or New Stanton PA. She is being fostered in Texas and we cannot afford to send her north until after she is adopted. Please fill out our online application at https://www.2manydogsrescue.org/adoption-application.html if you are interested in adopting this wonderful girl.
