MEET ANGELO!STATS: 9 month old, neutered, Lab MixAFFECTION/ENERGY LEVEL: I am a gentle and loving boy that really leans into love! I am an excellent walker on leash and will stay at your pace. In the yard, I will follow you around and put my head on your leg for pets, but don’t let my calm side fool you – if you want to play and have fun, I am SO down for it! I love to play tug of war and chase after toys. I am just happy to be with you, no matter what we’re doing!WHAT I LOVE: I LOVE to get all the scratches. I will push my head into your hand for more love! My second favorite thing is playing with toys. I am super gentle if you take a toy from me, because I am a polite boy with great manners!KIDS: The shelter staff thinks I would do just fine with dog savvy kids that are gentle with me.OTHER DOGS: I love other dogs and go to playgroup at the shelter every day!CATS: UnknownHIS MATCH: I would be so happy to have a family to love on me, scratch my chin, and play fetch! Story
Ellie is an almost 7-month-old sweetheart who had a very hard start to her life. She was saved by our rescue from a horrible situation at a drug house and was so emaciated, you could visibly see every bone in her body and was eaten up with several different parasites. Since being in our care and being shown real love, she is thriving and is now completely healthy and the perfect little lady! She is solid brown with a little darker marking down her back! She loves attention and loves to snuggle up in a bed of her own for the first time in her life! She is now spayed and up to date on all vetting and vaccinations! There is not one ounce of aggression in her little body, and she does not meet a stranger and just loves to be loved on by anyone who will show her any affection! If you are interested in adopting her, please visit Richardsonrescue.org and fill out our adoption application to bring this sweet girl today!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 17, 2026, 9:21 am
