MEET NOIR!STATS: 8 month old, neutered, Black Lab MixAFFECTION/ENERGY LEVEL: I am a energetic young Lab mix with springs on my hind feet! I look like I`m bouncing when I walk. I am also super affectionate and love to give kisses. WHAT I LOVE: I love spending time outside with my dog friends! I zoom around the yard with them, but when I see a person, I can`t contain my excitement! I will roll on my back for tummy scratches, too!OTHER DOGS: I am very dog friendly and I have a whole group of dog friends here at the shelter! I am also cohoused with my sibling, so I would likely do wonderfully with another dog in the home!CATS: UnknownHIS MATCH: I would love a family that will give me lots of love and attention. I have so much love to share and I would do great with another dog or as the only pup!SPECIAL NOTE: I love to be eye level with you - that way, its easier to give you kisses!https://www.cognitoforms.com/YorkCountyAnimalControl/PetAdoptionSurvey. Story
Silas was born here on 5-7-24 and is another baby that hasn't had a visit or a chance at a "furever" family up to this point. This guy is very lovable and totally enjoys playing fetch and only weighs in at around 35 pounds so, he will not be a large boy. He is great with other dogs but does have high play energy and another dog in the home would need to match. However, he is submissive with other dogs if it comes to that. Silas is still a big puppy and will need some training in his new home. He also seems to prefer being outside to inside, so if you want a dog that likes a lot of outdoor time, this is the one. This boy has a gentle temperament and you can do anything in the world to him with no issues. So, any active family with room for him to run should work for this guy. He is also mostly house trained but does prefer outside with a fence to run in and we are working with him on a leash. He is up to date medically for his age and current on flea/heartworm prevention and neutered. Ellie is a 3 month old sweetheart who had a very hard start to her life, as she was saved by our rescue from a horrible situation at a drug house and was so emaciated, you could visibly see every bone in her body, and was eaten up with several different parasites! Since being in our care and being shown real love, she is thriving and on her way to being completely healthy and the perfect little lady! She is solid brown with a little darker markings down her back! She loves attention and loves to snuggle up in a bed of her own for the first time in her life! She will be spayed when she weighs enough and available for adoption 1/1/2026Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 11, 2025, 1:43 pm

Story
Eve is 1-2 years old, 40 lbs. 'Eve' is a beauty! All black with white on her chest and at the back of her paws. She is a dainty little girl at only 38 pounds with a big attitude! Eve loves to play and has a rough and rowdy playstyle. She does get along with other dogs. She has the most unique and cute bark. Eve is potty trained. Eve does accept and respond to firm direction and commands. She will be easily trainable. She does not like the kennel so she has a confined space (laundry room) and does well in her space. She sleeps through the night with no problem. Eve will go to a kennel as long as the door is open so I do think kennel training could be done with her. Eve would do well in a home with a less dominant dog or well trained dog.
