Story
About Cocoa: Cocoa is an incredibly sweet, playful pup who has been through a lot and come out with nothing but love to give. She was found abandoned, but you would never know it by her affectionate nature. She has adjusted well to home life and is happiest when she is near her humans. Personality: • Very sweet and loving • Bonds easily and deeply Ideal Home: Cocoa would do best in a home that can offer consistency, love, and patience. She doesn’t need anything fancy; just someone who has the capacity to care for her long-term and make her feel safe and wanted. Why Cocoa Needs a New Home: While we’ve been happy to help Cocoa get healthy and safe, we don’t have the capacity to keep her permanently. Health & Vet Care: Cocoa is up to date on all vaccinations and has received significant medical care since being found abandoned. Because of this, an adoption fee is required to help recoup costs and ensure a committed adopter.

I’m Goldilocks, a beautiful Labrador retriever mix with a radiant smile that will win you over!I came to the Humane Society of York County from York County Animal Services. I’m a larger girl of about 55-60 pounds, and my estimated birth date is October 2023.I’m still a young girl with typical Labrador retriever energy, and I would be happy in an active home that helps me channel that spunky nature!I enjoy playing with other dogs who match my energy level, and I love a good game of fetch with my human friends.I need a little time to adjust to new things, and I would love a forever home where I can keep building my confidence. If you like to be on the go, I might be the girl who is your perfect companion! If you wish to meet me, please call the Humane Society of York County at (803)-802-0902 to schedule an appointment. Please refer to our website for adoption requirements: https://humanesocietyofyorkcounty.org/adopt/adoption-process.htmlThank you for your support.
