Meet Charlie! He has been looking for his people since he was pulled from the shelter as a pup. Charlie is great on leash. Has been cat friendly in the house. He LOVES being outside. He loves his people and is so excited when you come home and wants to snuggle! Charlie gets terrified of being locked up.. He needs a home to be free or he can stay with his people. He will lay in a crate on his own but if you shut door it scares him

Story
Buddy came into our lives during the Christmas of 2017 after he was a stray that showed up at my parents house. We are looking to rehome because we have a 9 month old daughter, and we feel as if he would do better in a home where he gets full attention. Despite being an older guy, you wouldn’t know it! He is very active, loves to play, and is an absolute ham with a big personality. He loves people, enjoys attention, and is very trainable. He is potty trained, walks well on a leash with a Gentle Leader, and is generally a well-behaved dog around the house. He doesn’t tear up shoes, chew on walls, or get into things he shouldn’t, and he can comfortably go long stretches between potty breaks. He does struggle with some anxiety. We have tried Prozac, although it didn’t make much of a difference, and he has a prescription for trazodone to help with particularly stressful situations, such as vet visits or the Fourth of July.
