Story
Scooby is about as easy as dogs come. He's smart, gentle, and has beautiful manners — he adores other dogs and people equally and greets everyone like they're his favorite person. He walks nicely on leash, settles happily loose in the house while his foster is at work, and lights up the moment he sees the car keys because he knows an adventure is coming. A backyard sniff around or a good toy session is plenty to tire him out, and he's just as content curled up on a patio as he is out exploring. A little extra help Scooby had an injury before coming into rescue. The fracture healed completely, but the nerves involved in bladder and bowel control didn't come back all the way — so he needs a bit of hands-on help with both. It sounds like more than it is in practice: Bladder care Expressed 3–4 times a day with a gentle massage near his hind legs. Quick and easy once you get the hang of it. Potty schedule: A special diet keeps him regular, and he poops like clockwork twice a day. He gives clear signals, so it's easy to know when to take him out. Scooby has full sensation and knows exactly when he's going — he just can't hold it voluntarily. He's aware and cooperative through the whole routine.

Story
Timber is in boarding and safe but needs her own home. She is bonded with Cowboy, a Cairn Terrier. They are very close, sweet natured, great with all people and kids. Timber's only flaw is she needs to be fed by herself as we believe she was starved before. She is a lovely dog and so very gentle. Both dogs are kenneled together and need a little help with home crate training and learning the schedule for outdoor potty. We have all the info on reunionrescue.com Training Page. Ask about our lifetime holistic care program along with our foster to adopt plan. Call us today about Timber and Cowboy!

Story
Meet Sicily — The Girl with the Permanent Wink! House-trained • Crate-trained • Prefers adult or with mature teens home Sicily is a gentle, quirky senior girl who has been truly blooming in foster care. With patient guidance and weekly training sessions, she’s made impressive progress. She went from being unsure about leaving the house to confidently walking her neighborhood, exploring new sights, and even opening up to unfamiliar people much faster than before. She loves learning and proudly practices confidence-building skills like “place” on a small platform. At home, Sicily is calm, affectionate, and loves finding cozy nooks—blankets, couches, corners—where she can settle in for a nap. She thrives with predictable routines and a peaceful environment, and once she trusts you, her sweet and lively personality shines through. Her foster mom describes her as loyal, expressive, and incredibly endearing. Sicily prefers an adults or mature teenagers home where life moves at an easy pace. She could potentially live with a calm, respectful dog, but she would also be perfectly happy as your one-and-only companion. If you enjoy slow neighborhood strolls, quiet evenings, and the joy of watching a dog gain confidence day by day, Sicily may be your perfect match. Come meet the girl with the permanent wink and the steadily growing heart.

Story
Hi, I'm Rosebud - a sweet, soulful Lab mix with deep eye contact that will melt your heart. If you're on your laptop too long, I'll gently nudge it closed with my nose to let you know it's "pets o'clock." I'm a gentle homebody who loves a quiet routine. My day consists of snoozing on my bed, chasing balls, wrestling, and squeaking toys. I absolutely adore kids and am a total pro around them - gentle, affectionate, and happy to be nearby. More about Me: Shy with New Adults: I'm shy with new grown-ups. I need a patient, dog-savvy home that will give me space, time, and slow introductions. Once I trust you, I am fiercely loyal and loving. Secure Home Required: I need a tightly secure yard and solid doors. Inside a secure home, I am an absolute breeze, easy to handle, and do wonderfully in boarding if you're away. Great Routine: Fine on a leash, comfortable home alone for a full workday, and not destructive. I promise days full of gentle eye contact, affectionate laptop interruptions, and steady loyalty. If you have a secure yard, a quiet environment, and a little patience, I'd love to meet you! 🐾 Inquire today!

We adopted Maverick in July from Texas Humane Heroes in Leander, and he has quickly made himself known as the fun-loving, energetic puppy that he is! Maverick is currently 6 months old and is full of personality, curiosity, and puppy energy. He is playful, affectionate, and very personable. He loves attention and enjoys being around people and other animals. He’s the kind of puppy who wants to be involved in whatever you’re doing and is happiest when he has someone to interact with, play with, or simply be near. He has a goofy, endearing personality that makes him hard not to love.As a young puppy, Maverick is still learning his manners and will need a family who understands that puppies require patience, consistency, exercise, and training. He would thrive in a home with plenty of space to explore and burn off his energy, along with someone willing to continue working with him as he grows into the wonderful adult dog he is meant to be.

Story
Koda was found at a scrap yard as a puppy and adopted by my parents and eventually came to live with us. She loves being outside and playing with other dogs and kids. She would stay outside all day if we let her but we live in Texas. She is protective and barks at other dogs (even the ones on tv) but is still super friendly. She is still a little skittish at times. She is potty trained and crate trained, which she uses as her safe place. She does shed which is why we have to re-home her due to my child's allergies. She really is a sweet girl but my kids come first. We can send her bed, crate and harness with her to help with the re-homing process.

Yolanda is a dream girl. She is super people friendly and will make an exceptional family pet, the kind dog you want kids to grow up with. She's fun and loves to run and play. We think Yolanda will be a great frisbee dog as she can jump and fly through the air. She is an amazing dog to watch. Good with other dogs but still needs a cat test. Yolanda is sleek and graceful, shiny black coat with telltale German Shorthair Pointer spots on her dainty feet. If Yolanda were reinvented as a person, she would definitely be a ballerina. Story
Charley is an easygoing, thoughtful girl who has settled beautifully into her foster home. After nearly a decade in one home, she’s taken this big life transition in stride; within minutes of walking into her current foster home, she was relaxing, following the household routine, and coexisting peacefully with resident dogs and cats. She enjoys being near her people, joining in on “pack” walks, and soaking up the simple comforts of home life. Charley is a friendly dog who seeks out connection, but she prefers a respectful, consent-based approach to touch. She’s shown that she’s most comfortable with gentle, predictable interactions and does best when her boundaries, especially around her neck and while eating, are honored. In her foster home, she’s been calm and easy to live with, including during mealtimes when given appropriate space. She is reliably house-trained with no accidents and walks nicely on leash, making her a smooth addition to a daily routine. Charley will thrive with an experienced, patient adopter who understands dog body language and is comfortable managing mild resource guarding and touch sensitivity. In return, she offers loyalty, companionship, and a genuinely sweet nature that shines when she feels safe and understood. She’s a great match for a quieter home without young children, where she can continue to relax and be appreciated for the wonderful dog she is.
