Enzo is great with other dogs and would love to have another dog in the home to play with, but can be an only dog as long as you are able to give him all the attention and structure that he needs to be fullfilled. If you are interested in Enzo:**You MUST be committed to crate training and setting clear boundaries and expectations with his training to ensure his mental & physical needs are met daily. **You MUST enroll in and complete the @methodk9 Basic Foundation program (we are able to offer a 50% discount for our approved adopters)He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his vaccinations ##1747341##

Story
Coco is a cute and scruffy standard poodle mix weighing approximately 60lbs with an estimated birthdate of 03/29/2023. He came to the Mission as an owner surrender when he was no longer able to stay with his previous family.  Coco is energized and fun loving. He is good with dogs, kids, and dog savvy cats who won't run from him. Like any large breed, high energy juvenile dog, he will require continued training and boundary setting to ensure he is successful. If given unlimited freedom of choice, he will make poor decisions because poor decisions are fun.  Coco is crate and leash trained and knows a few basic verbal commands. He would love an active family or a family that will at least include him in the day to day goings on.  Coco comes neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed.  His adoption fee is $200 and includes his leash, collar, ID tag, medical records and food sample. To be considered to adopt, please begin by visiting www.murcismission.org and sending in an application.  Thank you for checking out our boy! ##2038156##

Story
We have had Lola since she was birthed in our basement about 9 1/2 years ago. She has gone everywhere, and done everything with us, aside from a couple of trips that included flying. She has been amazing with our kids, and others that have come to our house, she can take walks very well. She is house trained, and "crate" trained, we use the bathroom when we leave, and she does it without complaint, sometimes when we get back from an errand, she'll just stay in the bathroom when we open the door. We have four kids, and one on the way, as much as we've loved having her as our dog, it is a lot right now at this stage of our life, as we are pregnant with our 5th child and don't have the time she needs. This has been a hard decision for us, but we know it will be better if she is with people that can give her a little bit more time and attention then we are able.

Story
Momo is looking for his forever home to hibernate as he's a little grizzly bear looking for that perfect combo of cuddles and chaotic energy. He's looking for a home with no small animals as he has a high prey drive. Meet and greets with other dogs are required as he does play well with some dogs but not all. Momo can be a stubborn boy at times, which may look like him pushing buttons/boundaries. A routine and some training would be best as well as preferably an adult only home. If you're interested in Momo, please come stop by and chat with our SHS adoption staff!

Story
A funny Valentine to brighten your whole year Meet Valentine! Valentine is in a foster home in Spokane WA and can be transported to your area. (See information below in the “Adoption Donation” section.) Valentine is a happy labrador retriever/Catahoula Leopard Dog mix.  Catahoulas are known for their energy and playfulness, and Valentine has both. Silly at heart, she loves to leap from across the room, landing in a “let’s play” position in front of the resident dog. Valentine has a fondness for running around outside (she bunny hops across the yard!) and enjoys walks, too.  She would be a great candidate for agility training. Valentine relishes searching through her pile of toys to find the one with the best squeaker. She plays well with other dogs and has befriended her foster’s cat (she’s not deterred by its grumpy personality). Valentine does have a herding dog personality, so older kids would be better companions for her. Valentine has packed a lot into her short life, and she is enjoying the chance to be the young dog that she is. She and her nine puppies were saved from euthanasia in Texas before journeying to Washington to begin a new life. Valentine feels secure in her crate and can amuse herself quietly for hours (but she won’t turn down an opportunity to nap on the couch). Valentine sleeps through the night and her house training is progressing well. She sits patiently for her snacks and meals and is working on other basic obedience commands. Valentine is working on her greeting manners, so a busy household with lots of new people coming and going might be overwhelming for her at first; consistent expectations and training will set Valentine up for success. Funny Valentine is starting a new phase of her life, and she seeks someone to share in her adventure. Valentine’s ideal home? Lots of love and toys; fun walks or opportunities to run in a yard; dogs and cat siblings would be wonderful but not required; and older kids. She’d never turn down treats, either! Like a butterfly emerging from its cocoon, Valentine is stretching her wings and pivoting from protective, alert-mom mode to trusting pup willing to let someone take care of her. If the thought of sharing that journey with her makes you smile, maybe this Valentine is the one for you! Want to meet Valentine? Fill out an inquiry or visit our website for more information! Adopting from Path of Hope Rescue At Path of Hope Rescue, our goal is to make EVERY DOG. WANTED. We are primarily a volunteer organization that focuses on transporting pregnant dogs and puppies from Texas, the number one kill state in America. The dogs we rescue are in poor living conditions and on euthanasia lists in shelters that are inundated with unwanted animals. We want to give these dogs a chance and bring them to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive, loving homes. Our adoption process sets us apart. We specialize in learning about you and your family to find just the right fit for you. Our Matchmakers are not only good at what they do; they will also guide you through the entire process.  Our Minimum Adoption Donation is $550 for puppies under a year and $450 for dogs one year and older. We are a WA state registered non-profit and rely heavily on adoption donations to cover the expenses associated with saving lives. Our dogs are spayed/neutered prior to adoption; microchipped with free lifetime registration; and up to date on DAPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines (when age appropriate) and heartworm and deworming. Adopters can also earn a $100 training refund if they attend (6) hours of any in person training course. We are 100% foster based; our dogs are fostered in loving homes where they are house and crate trained and learn basic obedience and leash skills. Dogs experience socialization opportunities with people, places, and other animals, and they receive the attention required to become well-rounded, healthy, and affectionate dogs that they would not otherwise receive in a shelter environment. Our commitment does not end when the dog is adopted. Path of Hope offers post adoption owner support including information on making the dog’s transition to your home a smooth one; recommendations for Preferred Trainers; advice on pet behavior and wellness topics; Facebook litter groups to keep in touch with fellow adopters; and invitations to local rescue hosted events. Adopters may choose to travel to Spokane to pick up their dog or use our monthly transport option, Puppy Delivery Express, for an additional delivery donation of $250.  Puppy Delivery Express currently delivers dogs throughout Washington and to parts of Montana, Idaho, and Oregon.  Please visit https://www.pathofhoperescue.com/ for more information about our organization and the adoption process. ##1960183##
