Story
F - 2 years old - Black Labrador Retriever Mix - Blossom is pure energy with a heart full of love! Everything she does is full speed. Whether she’s running, playing, or tugging on the leash, she approaches life with total enthusiasm. And she LOVES treats. They’re the perfect way to help this high-octane girl focus and learn a few tricks along the way. But don’t let her hyper side fool you. Once she settles down, she’s a total cuddle bug. When she's calm, she enjoys leaning into her people and soaking up pets, showing off her affectionate, trusting, and sweet nature. Blossom is looking for a family who can match her energy, give her plenty of exercise, and share in her love for playtime and cuddle time. ADOPT To adopt, come see us! She’s happiest when she’s around people and thrives on companionship, cuddles, and a good game of fetch. Bath time? Pool time? She loves it! And when it comes to food, chicken and rice is her absolute favorite—though she’s also a big fan of apples. This clever girl knows how to mind her manners at home, loves treats, takes them gently, and will happily strike a pose for a snack. Pepper has enjoyed some playtime with dogs her size, but at this stage of her life she really just wants to soak up all the love and attention for herself. She would do best as the only dog in the home. We do not know about cats. Pepper still has some pep in her step, but not the overwhelming energy of a puppy. She enjoys toys, tummy rubs, and splashing in water. She does pull on the leash a bit (she’s used to a harness), but with a little patience, guidance and love, she’ll walk right into your heart. Pepper is a truly sweet soul looking for a forever home where she can relax, play, and be loved. If you would like to know more about Pepper, please fill out an adoption application.   If you are interested in adopting through Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno, you must first fill out an Adoption Application located at our website www.LabRescueFresno.org All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines including rabies; flea/tick topical drops, heartworm tested and microchipped. Meet Bentley! Bentley got his name from his foster mom because he’s just so regal and handsome—but don’t let that royal name fool you. This 4-year-old, 70-lb sweetheart is also playful, goofy, and full of love. His favorite place to be is right next to his people, happily cuddled up by your side. Bentley has just the right energy level—he enjoys walks, playtime, and chewing on his favorite toys, but he’s also perfectly happy relaxing with his family. He does very well on leash and even knows how to heel while walking, making him a wonderful companion for daily strolls. He already knows how to sit and is eager to keep learning with a little guidance and encouragement. This friendly boy gets along great with both small and large dogs and is also cat friendly, making him a wonderful addition to many different types of homes. Bentley would truly thrive in a home where people are around more often than not, and he would especially love having another dog friend to keep him company. I’m Kuia, a Lab mix brimming with love and enthusiasm! I’m an active girl who thrives on running, playing ball, and soaking up every fun moment with my people. My tail wags like crazy when I meet new folks, and my big, beautiful smile is guaranteed to light up your day! I get along wonderfully with other dogs and tolerate cats and small animals with ease. I’m crate trained, house trained, and super food-motivated, which makes training a fun adventure! My manners are a work in progress due to my excitement—especially when I first see you or new friends—but once I settle down, I’m a polite and well-behaved lady. I’m still perfecting my leash skills, but with a few treats and a little guidance, I’m eager to shine. I adore being close to my people, leaning in for pets and cuddles, and I’d thrive in a home where I can shower my family with affection. Whether it’s a lively game of fetch, a neighborhood walk, or cozying up together, I’m happiest by your side. I’d do great with or without other dogs, as long as I get plenty of love and attention. Ruby is a lovable, energetic girl who enjoys being part of the family. She’s wonderful with both adults and children and is fully potty trained. At night she sleeps either in her crate or on her dog bed by your side, happy just to be close. She loves her daily walks and walks nicely on leash without pulling. Ruby knows basic commands like sit, stay, and leave it, and she’s eager to keep learning. She’s just starting to figure out how fun playing ball can be! She has a playful, active personality and will thrive with a confident owner who can provide structure and leadership. Ruby needs to be the only pet in the home — no other dogs or cats — so she can feel secure, relaxed and soak up all the love. On walks, she may react to other dogs if they bark at her, so she’ll do best with continued guidance and training in those situations. When left alone for a few hours, she relaxes quietly on the couch or a chair until you return. She’s a strong chewer but sticks to her own toys — a big plus! Ruby has recently discovered her voice and will howl along with fire engine sirens, which only adds to her charm. She’s a sweet, affectionate girl who wants to please and is very trainable. With consistency and love, she’ll make a wonderful companion.
