Hi there! Athena is a 10 month old black lab mix! I got her after my 18th birthday from Gulf Coast Humane Society! She’s truly the sweetest girl ever, she’s so incredibly smart, loyal, she always makes me laugh, loves to watch movies, go to the park, very curious, loves wishbones, and loves to run! I unfortunately haven’t been able to give her the life that she deserves and I don’t have much help so as much as it breaks my heart, I want to do what’s best for her. Gracie was found running free in the middle of the road. She almost was hit by a truck and I rescued her. I brought her home and have been caring for her for two months but am dealing with health issues. Shes very intelligent and super, super loving. She also has high energy and loves to run around. I almost had her house trained but am not able to take her out on a regular basis. I also keep her in a bedroom ( no furniture ) and she becomes frustrated. A second dog was following her, a male, which I took in as well. I’m not sure what I’m going to do with him yet but he is small and old. She loves other dogs. My daughter took her to a dog park and she enjoyed playing with the other dogs. She went over to a woman sitting on a bench and put her head on her lap. She loves my special needs cousin as well. She runs to her the first thing in the morning. I DON’T want to put her in a pound. Please help me

Hi, my name is Sunny! I am a sweet, playful puppy estimate at 8 months old and last weighed in at around 35 lbs as of end of September. I appear to be a Labrador retriever, possibly mixed with a smaller bully breed as I am a bit on the smaller side for a lab. I am a volunteer and staff favorite at the rescue due to my good natured attitude and wonderful personality! I landed in the county shelter after I was brought in with a severely broken front leg and road rash, likely from being hit by a car. My leg could not be repaired, but I am loving life despite losing my leg. I have adjusted to being a tripod amazingly and it does not bother me at all - I just need to find a family that sees my beauty inside and out now!
