Story
Hi, my name is Sadie and I'm almost 10 years old.  I was originally adopted from Bond County Humane Society (BCHS) when I was about 5 months old.  I have lived with my adopters and 2 other dogs until I was surrendered back to BCHS in Sept 2025.  The family has split up and they could not keep me or the other dogs because their living situation changed.  I am currently living in a foster home.  It is just me and my foster mom in the home.  I like the peace and quiet of my foster home.  I don't like a lot of noise and activity.  My foster mom says I am super sweet and smart.  I am an alarm barker so when I hear someone or something I let you know and my bark is intimidating.  Little does a stranger know that I am totally harmless.  As soon as someone enters the house I'm fine and I go sit by my foster mom.  I am timid with strangers until I get to know them.  I am in good health.  I did desperately need a dental and that has been completed.  I had to have 13 teeth removed.  A bloodwork panel was done on me and everything is in normal range.  I am available for immediate adoption.  I am spayed, UTD on vaccinations, heartworm tested, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped.  My adoption fee is by donation.  If you are interested in making me a member of your family please complete an Adoption Profile in person or on-line at www.bondcohumane.org.  Email the completed profile to the address provided.  A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds and returns is available upon request.October 30, 2025, 3:59 pm

Story
We need to re-home our family dog due to a change in household dynamics. Patch is a very loving dog, who is playful but also calm in response to his owner’s emotions. Over the last few months, his environment has changed from a home with a few older kids, to a home with several small kids. Unfortunately, he is having a difficult time coping in the new environment. Patch has been our family’s dog for 9 years, and will make an excellent addition to your home if you have older kids and adults. All vaccines and wellness checks are current. Name: Apache (Patch) Dog Breed: Lab, black Gender: Male, neutered Age: 9 yrs Health Condition: Excellent Temperament: Playful and calm If you are interested in adopting Patch or know someone who might be, please let me know!

Hazel Grace was adopted as a young puppy but sadly, if problems are not corrected appropriately in the beginning stages.. Small problems can escalate. Hazel Grace is scared of strangers and possessive of her home.. For this reason, she would only be successful in a home with no children (under 18 years of age) and no other pets in the home. Once Hazel Grace knows you though.. she is the sweetest and most loving dog… and we will continue to work with her as she awaits a family willing to give her a chance. Please help us make room to save more homeless pets!!! Adopting from Hope Rescues saves the life of two.. the one you adopt and the one your adoption makes room for. We are a Rescue which means we physically go and save lives.
