A note from Dodge himself:
"Hey there, I'm Dodge, a one-year-old Labrador mix with a heart full of love, I just don't know how to show it. I didn't have the best start in life. I was neglected, so now I don't know about things like snuggles, treats and toys. I sometimes pull on the leash, because I'm so excited about walking, but a training collar or no-pull harness with help with that. I really want to learn how to be a companion. I'm not withdrawn or timid...I just am a bit independent because humans have not been a big source of connection for me. But, guess what? I have already learned that I love scratches on my chest! Pure bliss. It makes me feel warm, fuzzy and loved. And when it comes to other dogs, I'm a social butterfly—I love making new friends. Plus, I'm a good watch dog! I'll bark if someone is coming on the property or to the door, so that's a good thing I can help with! I'm Dodge, and I can't wait to restart my life in my forever home!"

2. Include your full name, town, and phone number. Also, tell us a little bit more about your situation: Other pets? Kids? Fenced yard/go for walks/farm? Rent or own? (If you RENT, we need written confirmation from your landlord that you can have a pet.)
3. We will respond and confirm your appointment.
Since we do first-come, first-serve adoptions, we highly recommend making an appointment ASAP if you want this pet.

We are a rural animal control and depend on both local and out-of-county folks to adopt our pets. We appreciate you looking!
