He is working on his place command, knows sit and stay very well. Jid can be a bit much sometimes when he gets super excited and gets a little mouthy, so this training is added that structure he needs to know what is expected of him. He is super playful and dog-friendly! He has done great at adoption events. House trained, crate trained, and loves dogs and people for sure! Very playful and makes silly faces :) He can be a bit much sometimes and gets a little too rough with jumping and getting mouthy. Things we are working on in training. He does okay around other dogs in our group training class, but we have not let him come up to them or engage in play sessions. With his current foster, he's only been around teenagers and that's good for him. They help him get his energy out with games of tug of war and fetch while being big enough to handle him if he gets jumpy. This love bug hates his crate......throws a tantrum like a 2-year-old. We're also working on this in training. Loves being outside and is constantly going in and out through the doggy door to see what the neighbor dogs are up to. Elsie is a sweet 9 year old black lab. We got her when she was about 1 year old from a family member who couldn’t care for her and neglected her needs. She is very friendly and loves to cuddle. She is not gentle around babies and she gets anxious around young children so she needs a home with older kids or just adults with no other dogs. She does fine with cats and doesn’t seem to mind them. She has an incontinence issue that is managed fine with medications but is potty trained otherwise. We need someone who can give her the attention we cannot. She's a sweet girl and we love her dearly, we want the best for her for the remainder of her life

Raya is a sweet and beautiful soul who has been through alot!!!! Rescued in North St. Louis by a kind hearted person and nursed back to health only to get SHOT!!!! Yes, that's right, someone shot Raya. She had surgery and is fully recovered. She desperately needs a new home other than the good samaritan.Raya is on a crate and rotate schedule b/c the resident Akita does not like Raya. Raya has been picked on and bullied. This sweet girl has some trauma to overcome, but she loves her person.We believe that with some training and guidance, Raya will blossom into the great dog that we see through all the struggles.Please help us get Raya into a great home by fostering or adopting!Contact us at rescuers@spencerpetrescue.info to arrange a meet and greet.
