Story
1 yd old female named Demi. I was given her from a family friend. Her mother was found abandoned in the middle of winter and my family friend rescued Demi's mother which they then found out she was pregnant. I ended up adopting Demi's brother. After having Demi's brother for awhile the family friend asked if I wanted Demi for a friend for Her brother. Now as time went on It just became too much to handle 2 dogs. I work a lot due to the economy and just don't have time to give them the Love and attention they deserve. They are great Loving dogs never bit anyone, will lick you to death. Demi chases the cats we have but never tried to actually hurt the cats. Great around my 2 6yrd children. Potty/Kennel trained

Story
Tail's is a great 1 yr old lab/pit mix.He is a great dog all around. He is full of energy and need's someone that has the time for him. Unfortunately with the economy I am stuck at work a lot of the time so it is hard for me to do so. He love playing fetch. He is a stronger dog so he will need someone that will be able to handle him. He will lick you to death and has never bitten anyone. He is house and Kennel trained. He has not yet been neutered. Only flaw I would say he has is wanting to jump up because he is so excited. I have used training collar and that did help out a lot

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. I want A "FUR"ever" HOME!  Read the FULL Bio to see where I am located and contact info:    2024001 Check out this Teddy Bear. Teddy as we call him since he looks like a little black bear cub, came to us from a local animal control.  His owners just left him behind. Well, RCHS didn't leave him behind.  Teddy is around 1 year old.  He weighs 44lbs and is a black lab mix.  He loves other dogs, tested ok with cats, but will need training to teach about playing too rough, and better with older children since he still jumps.  He knows some basic commands. Teddy is still puppy so he does still mouth when playing.  He just needs some time, training and love.  Please help us find him a home. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. My name is Serena, and I'm not just your ordinary dog; I'm a delightful bundle of joy with a unique twist. Get ready for love, laughter, and a touch of meercat magic! I am a sweet soul wrapped in fur, and my enthusiasm for life knows no bounds. From my love for other dogs to my affectionate nature with people, I am the perfect blend of joy and companionship. Picture this: I get so excited that I can't help but sit on my back legs, just like a meercat! It's my signature move, and I guarantee it'll bring a smile to your face every time. Who knew that adopting a dog could come with built-in entertainment? I'm a versatile companion who enjoys both active play and leisurely lounging. Whether it's a romp in the park or a cozy day indoors, count me in! I'm ready to adapt to your lifestyle and bring a dose of happiness to every moment we share. If you're interested in meeting Serena, please visit our website to learn about our adoption process and to fill out an application, www.gatewaypets.org/adopt. All of our dogs and cats will be micro-chipped, spayed or neutered, and up-to-date on vaccinations at the time of adoption. To view other adoptable pets from our shelter, please visit, www.gatewaypets.org/adopt. Gateway Pet Guardians is proud to offer a variety of mixed breed dogs available for adoption. However, please keep in mind that we rarely know the genetic background of the animals we rescue and, as such, we cannot guarantee the exact breed combinations found within this dog. However, we do not know his/her actual genetic makeup. Just know that this dog is probably a variety of several different breeds that have combined to create one very amazing and unique animal.

Story
My name is Wynter, and I'm a gentle and sweet soul, ready to bring warmth and love into your home. I'm a proud mama who just finished nursing 10 adorable babies, and now it's my turn to find a cozy spot on a comfy dog bed in a furever home. I'm the definition of sweetness! I've got a heart as warm as the summer sun, and I'm always ready for a cuddle or a gentle play session. I'm great with other dogs, having shared my space with them before, and I've even lived harmoniously with cats. So, whether you have furry feline friends or other canine companions, I'm sure to fit right in. I dream of a place where I can lay on a soft dog bed, bask in the love of a caring family, and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. I'm past my mommy duties, and now I'm looking for a home where I can be the center of attention and receive all the love and care I deserve. If you're interested in meeting Wynter, please visit our website to learn about our adoption process and to fill out an application, www.gatewaypets.org/adopt All of our dogs and cats will be microchipped, spayed or neutered, and up-to-date on vaccinations at the time of adoption.
