Deet is the longest resident dog at PCAPS! What a shame cause she is the best. Deet enjoys being active and going for walks and hikes with volunteers. She also enjoys laying around the breakroom and being silly. She has done well with the dogs and kids she`s met here at PCAPS. We haven`t seen her with cats yet.

Looking for a loyal companion that is always eager to be where the action is? Meet Ava, a happy-go-lucky, 7-year-old sweetheart who thrives on her human companionship. She is the perfect mix of laid-back and playful. Whether it’s snuggling on the couch or fetching sticks in the backyard, Ava’s always up for some fun (but she’s just as happy to relax by your side). Ava’s a bit of a diva when it comes to her social circle, so she would do best in a home where she is the only dog. She’s eager to explore and is a strong puller on the leash. Some training will be helpful for enjoyable walks together. Ava also has a chicken allergy and is working through some ear and skin issues, likely the result of past neglect. But with proper care and attention, she’s well on her way to a healthier, happier life. * 60 lbs and approximately 7 years old * Housebroken and non-destructive * Doesn’t require frequent potty breaks * Trustworthy when left alone * Loves head scratches, playing fetch, and being near her humans * Rarely barks * Chicken Allergy * Currently undergoing skin and ear infection treatments with help from her foster If you’re ready for a loving, one-on-one relationship with a dog who will adore you, Ava could be your perfect match. Audrey was found with 2 other mommas sharing the care of 17 total puppies living under an abandoned trailer. There is no telling how many puppies she birthed and/or raised in her life and we are happy to tell her there will be no more and she will have comfort & safety for the rest of her days. ❤️ Audrey is a sweet girl that is a little hesitant to trust, but likes existing around people & other dogs. Are you the one to show Audrey what family & love really is?

Meet Brady! He’s a sweetie! He is very playful with a fun personality. He loves to cuddle and great with kids. Brady is kennel trained and will even go to his kennel on command. He is house trained but asks to go out by just standing at the door, so you do have to pay attention to that. He enjoys playtime, walks, and running in the yard. He is good with other dogs. He is working on tricks and is learning quickly. Brady would make a wonderful family dog or a one on one best friend! (Born April 2025)
