If you’re looking for a dog who will keep you laughing, smiling, and occasionally wondering, “How did you get up there?” — Giggles is your girl! Giggles is a 7-month-old, 37-pound black and white merle scruffy-haired pup who may or may not have some doodle in her family tree. Honestly, we’re not completely sure what the recipe was, but whatever went into the mix definitely included CUTE, SILLY, and A WHOLE LOT OF PERSONALITY! Giggles is a social butterfly who thinks everyone she meets is her new best friend. She does great with other dogs, cats, and kids, and she absolutely LOVES attention. In fact, if you stop petting her, she may politely remind you by getting as close to your face as physically possible. She is still working on some important life skills, including potty training and leash training. She also has a little problem with gravity… specifically, she doesn't seem to understand why all four feet are supposed to stay on the floor. Giggles still likes to jump up to say hello, so she'll need a family willing to help her learn some manners. She's young, she's goofy, she's affectionate, and she's ready to find a family who will laugh at her silly antics while helping her grow into the wonderful adult dog she's destined to be. Apparently, when Giggles was born, someone thought, “You know what this family needs? MORE CHAOS!” And along came her sister, Tickles! Tickles is a 7-month-old, 34-pound black and white merle girl with a smooth coat and a personality that is every bit as entertaining as her name suggests. We’re not exactly sure what breed mix she is — possibly some kind of doodle-ish mystery mix — but we do know she is 100% adorable and 100% fun! Tickles is a social little sweetheart who gets along with other dogs, cats, and kids. She absolutely LOVES attention and would be perfectly happy being the center of your universe. If you're sitting down, she's probably wondering why she isn't sitting with you. If you're petting her, she's wondering why you ever stopped. Hershey is a lovable amazing pure breed chocolate lab who was born in North Dakota and has traveled all across the country with me and my family for the last 14 yrs. He is by far the best dog anyone could ever have. Now that all the kids are adults, we just don't have the time to take care of him like we used to. Me and my wife travel for work 4-5 days a week now and want him to thrive in a family that will love and take care of him as much as we have. Hershey listen on command, can hunt, fish, and love to play with other dogs and children. He would be the perfect addition to any family. Why does Yadi need to be rehomed? My daughter's family was leaving for soccer game and one of the children (12 yr old boy) put Yadi in his crate and grabbed his bone from the floor and went to hand it to Yadi in the crate and Yadi bit him and broke skin. The hospital reported it to St. Clair County (which is protocol for dog bites in our County) and Yadi went through the quarantine protocols. The County cleared him but said if he bites again he has to be removed from the home. Well, he bit again, the same 12 yr old boy. The boy said he just went up to Yadi's bed to wave bye. I'm grandma and had Yadi picked up, brought to my house, quarantined him, and put him in boarding/training with The Proper Pup in August for 6 weeks for resource guarding training. I cannot keep him as I care for my elderly mother. He would fit best in a home with no children.
