Story
Bear and Chance came into the shelter together. They're around 1.5 years old, and weigh between 50-55 pounds. They're both heartworm negative, neutered, and vaccinated with Distemper, Bordatella, and Rabies. They are both very friendly, rambunctious, and confident boys. They love playing with each other, and they have gotten along with all the other dogs at the shelter that they've been introduced to. They love attention, and will wake up from a nap to come running for pets as soon as they hear someone coming. These sweet, energetic boys are ready for their own families to run and play with.

Story
Hi, I'm Lyla a constant companion type of dog that does great with kids 15+ and other dogs that are younger and more my energy level! I don't do great with older dogs so can be dog selective, but would love to play with a dog friend that can match my speed. I'm a smart girl who knows 'sit' 'stay' 'potty' and 'eat' and can learn so many other commands. Maybe you could be my new best friend and I could learn new great tricks from you!

Story
6 puppies were brought to VHS at about 6 weeks of age. All are mostly black. 3 have some brown markings. Bob Cratchit has the brown on the underside of his legs and between his toes. The other 3 are black with minimal white on their chests. Some are a bit fuzzy-coated and some are sleek. We don't know the momma or papa dog. Even their ears vary between the puppies. Bob Cratchit is also the smallest of his litter, but only by a little bit. One thing they all have in common is they love to give kisses. They are very affectionate and loving. These puppies are also brave. When given startle challenges, like opening an umbrella over them, no one flinched. They just wanted to chew on it. They are growing quickly and will be medium to large dogs when fully grown. They have been living in a foster home for VHS. They are puppy pad trained, with an occasional pee on the floor. They are eager to pee when they hit the grass outside. It is time for each to go home for individual potty training. They may not have an open kennel on the adoption floor when they come to VHS and might be in the back. They will be at VHS starting on Wednesday, 12/3. Ask to see who you are interested in and the staff will get him from the back. Be ready to get your chin, and whatever part of your face he can get to, all kissed up!

Story
Hi there! My name may be Princess, but I'm no snooty royal. I just know I deserve to be spoiled! I'm a 1-year-old female pitty who came from animal control, and I'm on the lookout for my forever home.I'm very sweet, playful, and fun! I have a bit of a mischievous side too-I can be a counter surfer because that's where the treats are. Maybe that has something to do with my figure! I'm always up for a game or an adventure, and I know commands like "sit" and "leave it," which makes me a pretty good listener. When I'm out on walks, I have high energy and get super excited because I love exploring and being outside. I'm easy to walk, but sometimes I can't resist chasing after squirrels. I promise I'm not fearful, just curious and playful. I did bark at other dogs because I was so excited to see them and wanted to play, but I could use a little help learning how to interact with them properly. I'm looking for a family that can match my energy and give me lots of love and attention. If you think you can spoil me like the princess I am, come meet me! Let's see if we can make each other happy and start our new adventure together.
