With his long legs, soulful eyes, and silly expressions, he’s got that “big puppy energy” in the best way. We suspect there’s a bit of Great Dane in his genes — not just because of his size, but also his gentle demeanor and goofy personality.Carl is sweet as can be and has a heart of gold, but don’t expect him to be in a rush to do things your way. He’s definitely got a stubborn streak — the kind that makes you laugh more than anything else. He might look at you like, “Are you sure we’re doing that?” before eventually deciding it’s a good idea (especially if treats are involved).Despite his size, Carl is incredibly gentle. He plays nicely, loves a good belly rub, and can often be found sprawled out in hilarious positions, legs everywhere, just living his best life. He`s still learning the ropes when it comes to manners, but he’s eager to please (in his own Carl way), and would thrive with someone who can keep training fun and consistent.Carl would do best in a home that has the space — and heart — for a big, playful, slightly clumsy guy who just wants to be loved. Mustang is a male Labrador Retriever mixed doggy who is about 4.5 years old. Sadly, he was surrendered to us after his owner passed away. Mustang is a free-spirited, independent boy with a lot of heart. He is dog-selective, so he would do best as the only dog or with careful introductions. Mustang would be a good fit for a home with older children who can respect his space and energy. He has a loyal nature and will do best with someone who understands dogs and appreciates his independent personality. He is described as a 'Free Spirit'. Intelligent, independent, confident and clever, I prefer making my own decisions but will listen to you if you make a good case. We’re partners in this adventure. Treat me like one and we’ll both live happily ever after. (Internally motivated). It is recommended that whenever you add a new animal to your household, it is done with a slow and monitored introduction. All our animals have been spayed/neutered (or will be arranged if currently too young). Dogs will be tested for heart worms, vaccinated against distemper/parvo and rabies. . Cats will be vaccinated against feline distemper and feline parvo, and have been wormed. . All animals will be bathed and treated for fleas/ear mites. Microchipping will take place at the time of adoption. Adoption fees: Cats - $105 for one or only $150 for two! Lucky is a male Labrador Retriever mixed doggy who is about 4.5 years old. Sadly, he was surrendered to us after his owner passed away. Lucky is sweet and sensitive and has been through a lot recently. He came in with his companion, Mustang, after their owner sadly passed away. Because of this big change, Lucky can be a bit nervous at first and needs time to feel safe and comfortable—he was even unsure about having his picture taken, which shows how much reassurance he needs right now. Once he has a chance to settle in, Lucky shows his gentle nature. He does best with patient, understanding people who will let him warm up at his own pace. He is dog selective, so careful introductions are important, and he would likely thrive as the only dog or with a well-matched canine friend. Older children who can respect his boundaries should be okay for him. Lucky is looking for a calm, loving home where he can rebuild his confidence and feel secure again. With kindness, consistency, and a little time, this loyal boy has the potential to become a devoted and loving companion. He is described as a 'Wallflower'. Shy yet charming canine searching for a patient owner with a relaxed lifestyle. Looking for gentle guidance to help me come out of my shell. Treat me sweet and kind and I’ll blossom.
