Lokey is just that... a low key kinda fella. One walk should make you trip and fall completely in love with this gentle guy. From the moment you step in his kennel he is excited to see you but very polite and offers good manners. He does not jump all over his kennel guest, but offers gentle kisses to say hello, nice to meet you. He walks easily and seems interested in finding out about his neighbors but does not intrude on their privacy. As you stroll up the street you can hear him say "hello neighbor, nice day" as he passes by his kennels mates. I got bear from my mom trying to take him in because my mom got sick and he was just too much for her. He is a friendly energetic lab and likes to run and play. I want him to find a good home with someone with more time for him, I’m a truck driver so I work a lot of hours and can’t be home with him. He’s about 8yrs old and my mom has his paperwork. He’s protective over women and children but overall he’s friendly to everyone.

Jett is 6 years old and was adopted from a shelter as a puppy for my then teenage niece. She is now in college and couldn’t take him with her. I have taken him in from my sister because she has had to take on additional work to put my niece through college which requires him to be left alone for long periods of time. I am legally blind and have a dog of my own, and it has become too much for me to handle as well. Jett is house trained and an indoor dog, but he would benefit from a home with a yard for him to run around. He is the sweetest dog and gets along well with my other dog. He loves back scratches and bully rubs. He has never been around cats or children for extended periods of time, but he’s always friendly with children when we’re out on walks. He has also been boarded in homes with cats and I was told he did fine. He does have allergies but they are well managed with meds. We want nothing more than for him to find a new home where he’ll get the same amount of love he gives.
