His southern foster family states that he takes a brief moment to warm up to new people (don't we all?) and then he shines. Dusty is leash and crate trained and loves the car. He has been neutered, microchipped, and is UTD on vaccines. The adoption fee is 500 and a 50% deposit is due to hold him once he has been matched with a forever family. Please welcome Midnight to WWR!  Arriving in February, Midnight is cat, kid and dog friendly and is believed to be under the age of 2. He is super outgoing according to his southern foster and loves people. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Nala is a five year old lab that came to us very pregnant. The owners didnt want to deal with her or her pups. All of her pups went home in early January. Nala just was spayed and now is her turn. Nala is a silly goofy yellow lab. We did dna on one of her pups please see last photo for the pups lineage. Please visit our website for more info on our adoption process and adoption application www.barkdogfarm.org                         Please be sure all family members are in agreement to adopting and your family is ready to bring dog home now. Applicants must be at least 21 years old. We do not have blanket criteria regarding adoptions. Each applicant is considered based on many things including but not limited to breed experience, yard ( visible fence preferred) and other animals in home. We try to avoid dogs with same sex households as pyrs typically do not do well with the same sex. A volunteer will be in touch to discuss your application and the dog to determine if it is a good match. Your vet and two references will be called.  A virtual home visit done. Once approved a meet and greet at the farm will take place.  If all are in agreement  an adoption contract will be signed and adoption fee paid.  Adoption fees for dogs are $500. for adults over 12 months, $600 for puppies 12 months and younger as well as small breed dogs. Fees for seniors, special needs or harder to place dogs will be determined by our Board of Directors. All dogs will be altered when adoption is finalized. This may involve young puppies be given until a certain age to be altered. All animals are up to date on age appropriate core vaccines, negative for parasites, heart worm and lyme tested if 6 months or older, microchipped and have a current health certificate.  Proof of a basic obedience course completed is part of our adoption contract within six months. Our descriptions are based on shelter evaluations, input from foster homes and interactions with our volunteers but are in no way a guarantee of temperment. We show animals by appointment only. This is usually done meet outdoors so please dress accordingly. Meet Pearl, a medium sized girlie who might actually be half dog, half bunny rabbit. At just the right level of energetic and hilarious, Pearl has been diligently practicing walking on two legs like a small, determined human; when she’s excited, she pops up on her back legs and hops around like a bunny who just discovered coffee. If Pearl isn’t practicing her walking, you can find her curled up on the couch, recharging her batteries! She is potty trained, kennel trained, food motivated, good with cats and dogs, and has never met a stranger! She assumes all humans exist to adore her. She’s not much of a TV watcher; instead, she prefers to people-watch from the front window so she can keep tabs on neighborhood happenings and ensure nothing gets past her. Pearl loves her toys, enjoys being around her people, and is utterly unbothered by the energy around her as she beats to her own drum, marches at her own tempo, and honestly seems to be having a great time doing it. At night, she’s an excellent cuddler and more than happy to keep you warm in the winter, functioning as both emotional support and personal space heater.
