Story
Hello everyone!!!  I'm Tammie.  I am a really well behaved lady.  I don't get in trouble.  My foster mom says I'm adorable.   I am good in the crate and love walking on a leash.  I also LOVE cats...specially kittens.  I have been known to groom them.  lol  I haven't had much luck with other dogs in my past.  Some were not friendly towards me and made me a bit scared.  They used to eat all my food and bully me.  I would prefer to be the only dog.   Let me think.....things I don't like...getting my nails trimmed.  The previous owners used to hurt me and make my nails bleed.   I love treats and enjoy laying on the grass when it's sunny outside.  I am ok in the car also.   I have been waiting a long time.  I'm not puppy cute, but there is not much you have to teach me.  I will adapt very well to any living environment.  I am so ready to find my furever family.  Are you the ones???? We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Due to Covid 19 restrictions all Meet & Greets have been cancelled to keep everyone safe. Our adoptable pets are in Houston living with local foster families making the transition into your household a whole lot easier. We have scheduled transports every two weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest.      ##1618131##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Our L litter of labbies were born here on Barking Dog Farm to momma Raven. Mom (pending adoption) is your typical goofy, friendly black lab. We have no idea who she had an affair with as she ended up in a homeless shelter before making her way to us. These little ones have been socialized, handled often and litter boxed trained which should help with their house breaking. Lacey is one of the bigger pups in the litter. She is a sweet, active little labbie and is ready to go home. Please visit our website for more pictures of this dog and info on our adoption process and application which is located on the left column under "forms & applications" :                            https://www.barkdogfarm.org Please be sure all family members are in agreement to adopting and your family is ready to bring dog home now. Applicants must be at least 21 years old. We do not have blanket criteria regarding adoptions. Each applicant is considered based on many things including but not limited to breed experience, yard ( visible fence preferred) and other animals in home. We try to avoid dogs with same sex households as pyrs typically do not do well with the same sex. A volunteer will be in touch to discuss your application and the dog to determine if it is a good match. Your vet and two references will be called.  A virtual home visit done. Once approved a meet and greet at the farm will take place.  If all are in agreement and the animal has received its NH health certificate an adoption contract will be signed and adoption fee paid.  Adoption fees for dogs are $450. for adults over 12 months, $550 for puppies 12 months and younger.  Fees for seniors, special needs or harder to place dogs will be determined by our Board of Directors. All dogs will be altered when adoption is finalized. This may involve young puppies be given until a certain age to be altered. All animals are up to date on age appropriate core vaccines, negative for parasites, heart worm and lyme tested if 6 months or older, microchipped and have a current health certificate.  Proof of a basic obedience course completed is part of our adoption contract within six months. Our descriptions are based on shelter evaluations, input from foster homes and interactions with our volunteers but are in no way a guarantee of temperment. We show animals by appointment only. This is usually done meet outdoors so please dress accordingly. Please email barkingdogfrm@gmail.com with any questions or to arrange a meet and greet.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 23, 2024, 10:13 am

Story
Moose is a very lovable chocolate lab. He is all things that make up a good lab, loves tennis balls, loves his bones, and most importantly loves being a companion in the family! If you want a dog that will follow you around from room to room, and be a family dog or even a companion dog this is your dog! Unfortunately, am I pregnancy I have developed a allergen to moose and the medication I would need to take I cannot take because I’m pregnant and I would not be able to take it if I am breast-feeding so we are devastated to have to rehome moose! And we want to make sure he’s successful and into a loving family. We are an open book, so feel free to message, and we can discuss more!

Story
When puppies come from rough beginnings and the fight to survive is a daily endeavor, the soul of these puppies is nothing but grateful.  Lil Darlin’ is one of those puppies who had to fight to stay alive.  Four of her littermates did not make it across the finish line to a healthy life.  Darlin’ did and she is the sweetest and most tender little girl.  She was born 2/7/24 and we have her mom and the 3 puppies who survived.   This girl is just sweet and loving and gentle.  She loves to be held and told how much you love her and  how pretty she is.  She will be a little thing when all grown up.  Probably a 30 pound girl that will have the most beautiful black coat of fur and a deep devotion to her people.  She is ready for a new start in life, anytime.  She is ready for to love the world.  She has been living with children, cats, dogs, adults and has a love for playing in the grass and rolling and tumbling with great abandon.  She is a joyful spirit that is quiet and sensitive in all the good ways.  If you are interested please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.April 23, 2024, 9:08 am
