Story
Lux (approximately 59 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. This handsome fellow manages to somehow be very intelligent and super goofy at the same time. It's a fun combination and has made Lux quite popular with staff & volunteers at both of his shelters! Lux was named after Lux Interior from the punk rock band The Cramps. We're not sure what the likeness might be, aside from Lux's energy and authenticity, of course ;) Our Lux is friendly, outgoing, and loves meeting new people. He is a fan of squeaky toys and playing with pretty much everyone and everything in our fenced-in play yards. Lux did well with the dogs that he was introduced to at his previous shelter, and he has been friendly toward the dogs he has encountered here. He is a happy, fun-loving and hilarious pup, and we cannot wait to bring his joy to his new home!If you'd like to meet Lux and all his friends at the New Hampshire SPCA, please visit our Adoption Center during our open hours: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays (closed). Have questions? Call (603) 772-2921 ext. 110 or email info@nhspca.org today. Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Tan Weight: 27 Age: 1yrs 6mths 0wks

Story
Chance’s name says it all. This sweet boy was found alone at a park on a cold night with nothing but a blanket, yet despite his rough start, his heart is full of love and trust. Chance is incredibly gentle, easygoing, and crazy smart. He adores people of all ages and gets along beautifully with dogs of all sizes. He’s already house and kennel trained, making him an easy addition to any home. Playtime is one of Chance’s favorite things. He loves playing fetch and happily entertains himself with toys. When he’s not playing, he’s soaking up affection and enjoying being part of a family. Chance is the kind of pup who reminds you how resilient and loving dogs can be. He’s ready for a warm home, a comfy bed, and the forever family he’s been waiting for. Make sure to check out his video! He is located in Texas, but available for adoption throughout the U.S. with transport included with adoption fee. He is neutered, chipped and current on vaccines and preventative meds also. Story
Nash is a 5 year old black lab. He is crate trained. He knows basic commands- sit, stay, lay down, kennel, walk, gentle. He does have a bite history. We kennel trained him and that’s where he stayed while we worked, he did so well that we decided to let him roam the house while we worked. When my 14 got home with an hood on his head and dressed in black, Nash tried to protect the home. In result he did bite my son’s hand. He was quarantined for the recommended 10 days and there have not been any issues since. He’s great with my 5 year old. We are rehoming because we are moving to Florida, who we are moving with already has a dog and 2 is too many. Would love for him to go to a good home. Please don’t let his history affect anything he’s honestly the sweetest dog, just wants all the attention he can get.
