Hi! I'm Luna, a cheerful puppy who loves to play and learn. I've mastered 'sit' and I'm nearly perfect at potty training. Every day, I'm excited to meet new friends and explore. I adore playing fetch and learning new tricks. My favorite part of the day? Snuggle time and getting treats for my smart moves! If you're looking for a sweet, smart companion to add joy to your life, I'm ready to fill your days with love and fun. Let's start our adventure together!

Story
HARLEY is a big girl who is a "senior" gal (shhh we can't say that around her!). HARLEY is house-trained, walks fairly well on a leash and is a pretty laid-back girl. HARLEY isn't a huge fan of sharing her toys with her doggy roommates. She appears to be anxious around larger dogs, but does fine with little ones. HARLEY is intelligent and is learning from her dog roommates and her foster mom. She is affectionate and really loves her humans. HARLEY would benefit from being in a home with experienced dog owner!

Story
*Due to state laws regarding out of state adoptions, we cannot adopt to families in Massachusetts or Rhode Island.* Cornbread Fred is a 5 month old male lab mix. He once stole an entire pan of cornbread from the table and ate it in record time. He loves to cruise the kitchen in hopes of finding snacks or a kind grandmother that will sneak him a biscuit.  Listed breed is an educated guess made by our veterinarian and is NOT a guarantee - this also means we have no way of knowing what a puppy's adult size will be. This dog is currently being fostered in Mississippi and will be transported via Barton's Barkers transport services upon adoption. Their adoption fee is $500 and includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, a nose to tail vet check, microchip and transport costs. Second Chances lists dogs as being available in White River Junction, VT because we transport our dogs to the area every 3rd week after they have been adopted. All of our local shelters have a high euthanasia rate due to overpopulation so we created our rescue group to primarily adopt to the northern states to help keep as many dogs as we can from entering our kill shelters.   ##2081411##

Story
*Due to state laws regarding out of state adoptions, we cannot adopt to families in Massachusetts or Rhode Island.* Nelly is an expert at giving puppy dog eyes to get more toys. She loves to play and can't wait to find a family that will give her more toys than she can play with. Currently 9 months (1/6/24) Listed breed is an educated guess made by our veterinarian and is NOT a guarantee - this also means we have no way of knowing what a puppy's adult size will be.
