Story
Skip is a handsome lab/pit mix who would love to meet you! He has a great smile, which spreads across his cute face when you give him pets or throw his ball. He is affectionate and endearing and loves to play! He is very strong on a leash and will pull especially hard if there is something to chase (like a rabbit). Skip is very picky about canine friends, so a doggie companion would need to be a specific match - most likely a large dog who is calm, confident, and keeps to themselves. 𝗞𝗶𝗱𝘀: 12+ yrs, he likes to roughhouse 𝗗𝗼𝗴𝘀: highly selective𝗖𝗮𝘁𝘀: not a good fitHe can be seen at the main ranch facility. For further inquiry please email dogswmr@gmail.com

Story
Meet Tate! He is a beautiful Black Lab Mix who just wants all the love! He is extremely friendly and loves people and kids. He loves walks and having a toy to play with on his down time. He is dog selective so a meet and greet is required with your current dog(s). He does tend to display signs of separation anxiety, so someone who is home more often is needed. He does do well in a crate for shorter periods of time such as running the occasional errand. Come and see if Tate would fit your family! You can meet Tate at our main ranch location Wednesday-Sunday from 11am-3pm or email dogswmr@gmail.com

Story
Meet Clover, a sweet Lab mix!Clover was brought to us after a kind soul saved her from a rough situation. Clover arrived with sores and scabs all over her body. Our clinic team treated her and her skin looks much better! Clover absolutely LOVES water! She enjoys doggy pools and getting sprayed with water hoses. She is very friendly with other dogs as well as children. She does like a lot of attention, so another friend and/or some kids to play with would be the life! Clover is still very young and needs more help with walking on a leash, but she wants to learn. Due to her high energy, going on walks and/or a big back yard would be ideal. Clover is not thriving in the shelter environment and has started to show signs of anxiety. She is desperate for a family to love and play with. Clover requires a meet and greet if you have another dog.You can come meet Clover at the main ranch location. For more information, please email dogswmr@gmail.com

Story
Meet Vanilla, a very new addition to the Watermelon Family! He is very sweet and loves to greet you with whole body wiggles. He can be shy at first, but is very playful and happy. He is crate trained and does get along with other dogs, but does need a slow introduction. He hasn't been around kids under the age of 10, but that doesn't mean he wouldn't love kids. He has not shown any signs of trying to dig or jump when outside, and is not barrier reactive to people or other dogs. He is still learning not to pull on a leash, but that is an easy fix with some training and consistent walks. You can meet Vanilla at our main ranch location or email dogswmr@gmail.com for more information.

Story
Meet Tatum! This gorgeous girl is incredibly sweet and loving. While she can be a little shy on first introductions she warms up quickly and loves being near her people. Tatum is newer to us so we are still getting to know her, so far we have learned that she is dog selective, preferring dogs who give her her space as she gets to know them. She is still learning how to walk on a leash but has already made a lot of progress. We believe Tatum would do best in a home that will go at her pace and help her gain some confidence. Tatum can be see at the main ranch location. For more information, please email dogswmr@gmail.com
