Story
Hello, Hathor is a wonderfully sweet 6 year old. She loves people and has grown up with cats. Small dogs tend to like her because she is gentle with them. She likes to think she’s a cuddler but she gets supper wiggly when you try. You can hug and kiss her all you like. She is very loyal to her family and will guard the house. Sleeping the day away is just fine by her but she definitely loves her walks but running isn’t really her thing. Her knees have a tendency to slip off but she knows how to pop them back in place. As she’s gotten up in age her right one has definitely been causing some discomfort. Her paws and her butt are her iffy spots. She doesn’t bite or nip at adults just moves them away. Infants and toddlers stress her out and don’t give her the space she needs. We aren’t sure about older kids but she does like meeting and interacting with them, so her new home should either be childless or kids over 10.

She will greet you with full body wags and it's absolutely adorable.  She adjusted so well with us over the weekend and loved hanging out with the kids (14 & 9) as well as my husband, giving snuggles and kisses to everyone. She slept through the night in her crate both nights and didn't make a peep. I let her out in the morning for her morning potty breaks, no issues or accidents. After that, Miggy  came back into the bedroom and snuggled up on the bed for another hour or so.  Miggy  doesnt inhale her meals and she doesn't steal any people food, she will watch you but there is no jumping or barking or whining that occurs. She didn't chew on anything she shouldn't have, only her toys and bones. She didn't have any accidents while with us and caught on quickly to going to the patio door to let us know she needed to go outside.  Miggy  loves her squeaky tennis ball and knows how to entertain herself with her toys and benebones. She is very dog friendly and loved meeting our neighbor dogs. We do not have a dog for her to play with but she was able to see occupy herself with her toys and playing fetch with her tennis ball or a stick, as well as multiple zoomies in the yard. She does great on her walks, with very little pulling, if she sees another dog that she wants to meet she may pull a little bit but is easy to redirect and continue on the route. We also went to PetSmart adoption event and this girl rides so well in the backseat of the car. Very content with watching out the windows. MIggy  was so good while at the adoption event and enjoyed meeting everyone and getting treats from everyone. Pictures do not do her justice for this sweet beautiful girl. She will bring so much joy with her sweet funny personality and be a great addition to anyone's family. 4/30/2026 Foster Feedback: Miggy is the sweetest puppy. She is getting a hang on house training and kennel training quite nicely. Miggy has plenty of energy and loves playing with her foster sister, a 70 pound lab mix. She is still learning the “I’m done” cue but is really easy to distract from my dog if needed. When Miggy does take a break she loves to cuddle, constantly wanting to sit in my lap or lay down next to me. She loves playing with squeaky toys and a chance to chew on a good bone. While she does get a little overwhelmed in large groups of people she remains friendly with everyone and wants to make friends with any dog she can. I see Miggy growing up to be that dog who has great energy - but also loves a good nap and snuggle. So far the only things Miggy has chewed is her toys, accessible trash and sticks. She also seems like she would pick up on the game fetch with ease - as she was already returning the balls.  Miggy knows how to sit and is doing a great job at learning to lay down.    4/18/26 Foster Feedback: Miggy attended the Meet the Dogs event at Valley Imports today, and enjoyed meeting so many new people.  Miggy LOVES people and will do just about anything for a treat! She is doing so well with potty training,  coming quite a ways in a just a few weeks.  Miggy continues to assimilate well into our resident pack, playing happily with whoever will oblige. Miss Miggy aka Miggy Smalls, is the sweetest little soul looking for a great place to hone her skills and grow with guidance and direction.  4/14/26 Foster Feedback: Meet Miggy! Miggy is a 5–6 month old lab-mix sweetheart who absolutely loves her people! She’s the kind of pup who will happily soak up all the attention you’re willing to give, whether that’s snuggles on the couch or just being near you while you go about your day. She’s still very much a puppy, which means she’s learning the ropes! Miggy is working on house training and making progress with consistency.  She does well in her kennel-she may fuss for a few minutes at first, but then settles in nicely. She sleeps there overnight and only get up occasionally for potty breaks.  Miggy has a playful, curious personality and would thrive in a home that’s ready to continue guiding her as she grows. She’s eager to learn and responds well to structure and routine...and treats!! No cats for Miggy—she finds them a little too interesting, so a cat-free home will set her up for success. If you’re looking for a loving, fun, and loyal companion with just enough puppy energy, Miggy might just be your perfect match! To view additional dogs available for adoption, please see our website: www.4luvofdog.org May 13, 2026, 12:46 am

Story
Hi, I’m Solana! I’m an affectionate girl who loves being close to my people. My foster family says I’m incredibly loving, loyal, and full of personality. I’ve got a playful side too, and I’m always up for a game of tug-of-war, chase, or chewing on my favorite toys (especially if treats are involved!). I’m still learning to feel safe around new people and dogs, so I’ll need a patient home that can help me keep building confidence. I do best with a calm introduction to visitors and I’ve been making progress with regular walks. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will stick by your side, I might be your perfect match.
