He is so sweet and goofy. He isn't sure about the world but is getting more confident every day. He recently learned to hop up on the couch and he is in heaven! He still hasn't quite figured out how to play, but we're getting there. He loves to go for walks and gets around so well on 3 legs. He does startle easily when on walks. He doesn't run; he just comes closer to his trusted humans.  Hat Trick is getting more comfortable around men but still needs a little time to warm up to all new people. He is completely potty trained and free roams during the day while I am at work with ZERO issues! I have truly loved watching him grow and figure out that the world is a pretty cool place and there are amazing humans who love him!    3/2/26 Foster Feedback: Hat Trick has been through a lot but he is truly a sweetheart through and through. He has had a rough start, so is learning to trust the world. He is hesitant when around men, but he does warm up eventually. He has been doing some amazing work! Be patient with this angel! Hat Trick would thrive in a home with a strong dog friend to help him build his confidence. He currently lives with a dog and cat. A dog savvy cat is a must! Hat Trick is protective but not aggressive. He just wants to make sure his humans are safe. Scared of going to the bathroom alone? Have no fear, he will guard the door while you are at your most vulnerable. Hat Trick is fully potty trained but may have a slight regression in a new home while he adjusts. He gets around very well on three legs. Stairs don't scare him. He dominates them. Give this guy a shot and he will be the best companion! To view additional dogs available for adoption, please see our website: www.4luvofdog.org March 10, 2026, 9:54 pm

Story
Cruz is a big boy (85 pounds) with a big heart to match! He's a 3 1/2 year old Chocolate Lab/Staffy mix who loves other dogs, kids, and adults. He's also good around cats. He gets excited for car rides, rolling around in fresh snow, and doggie play dates. On sunny days he loves to lounge on the front steps and doesn't wander off. His energy level is medium. He walks pretty well on a leash, but a capable handler helps due to him being a strong boy! Cruz is potty and kennel trained, and knows basic commands. He doesn't like being left at home by himself for very long, so would do best in a home where he wouldn't be left alone for long periods. Cruz would also enjoy having a doggie playmate or lounging buddy! Cruz in neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and dewormed. ADOPTION FEE IS $150.00 + tax ($161.25). Story
Hi there, I'm Pebbles! 🐾 I'm a young lady who's had a bit of a bumpy road before getting here, but I'm learning every day that the world isn't such a scary place after all. My foster family knows that although I am a little quiet and a little shy, I have a whole lot of love tucked away. I'm a curious girl, even if I'm still a bit timid. I might take a second to approach you, but I'm watching and learning how to trust. I've realized that living the "good life" inside a warm home is actually pretty great. I am especially more confident when around my foster-dog sibling. I'm looking for a patient soul who understands that good things take time. I don't need a lot of bells and whistles—just a cozy spot on your sofa, some soft tasty snacks (cheese, please!), and a gentle hand to tell me I'm a good girl. If you're looking for a quiet, sweet companion to grow with, I think we might be a perfect fit.
