Please read our Frequently Asked Questions and Adoption Processed Explained documentation. _________ B I O ______________  Name: Lorna Shore  Size: Large range:  61-100 lbs  Adoption Donation: $250 (applicable sales tax included) . Adoption fees may be paid by cash or check.   Other:  Spayed  Female, Vaccinations current, Microchip    Lorna Shore would love to be your walking partner!   Foster Home Feedback  7/26/26 Foster Feedback: I have only had Lorna Shore since Wednesday evening, but she is literally the best dog! She gets a little jumpy when she gets excited, however, she calms down quickly. She does amazing either being left out to roam or being in the kennel. Of course, sometimes she likes to give a tough time getting her into the kennel, but she does so well once she is in there. Lorna's favorite places are on the couch, in her bed, or outside going on walks or sunbathing. She seems to not mind other dogs, but prefers her own space. When neighbor dogs come right up to the fence, she may give a brief reminder that she’d like a little distance. Lorna barks very seldom and just wants to be near her people. I can’t say enough about how great of a dog she is.To view additional dogs available for adoption, please see our website: www.4luvofdog.org August 1, 2026, 8:12 pm

Story
If you would like to provide this dog a loving home, please fill out a pre-adoption application.  Have a question? Please read our Frequently Asked Questions and Adoption Processed Explained documentation. _________ B I O ______________  Name: Dayseeker Size: (Once fully grown) ~Medium range: 26-60 lbs  Adoption Donation: $250 (applicable sales tax included). Adoption fees may be paid by cash or check.   Other:  Neutered Male, Vaccinations current, Microchip    Dayseeker is searching for a home that feels like a perfect setlist.   Foster Home Feedback   8/1/26 Temporary Care Feedback: We’re dog‑sitting Dayseeker this weekend, and he’s such a cool dog. He’s genuinely fun to have around. He entertains himself by chewing on a hard ball or tossing toys, and he’s easygoing with my dogs. He’s not a fan of his kennel, but we haven’t needed to use it—inside the house he’s not destructive as long as he has a toy, and after playtime he settles nicely to rest. At night he slept on our bed or on a dog bed, and we had no accidents. He hasn’t barked at all. Dayseeker would do well in almost any home. I think he’d be fine in an apartment with a fun, active person, as long as they don’t need to kennel him right away. With time and positive training, I think he could learn to be comfortable in a larger kennel, but he truly doesn’t need one at this point. I’m still undecided about cats. Dayseeker is very fixated on them—he’ll chase, search for them, and stand over them. He’s hard to redirect, even with treats, but he hasn’t been aggressive. Overall, Dayseeker is a great dog and would make a wonderful companion for anyone.    7/29/2026: Building Volunteer Feedback: I got to know little Dayseeker better yesterday when I took him for a shady sniff walk at Lindenwood Park. Found out he rides nicely in the back seat playing with a big rubber ball. He seems to favor ones with nubby textures…and if it squeaks he’s really happy.   Last night he was one of three dogs featured at a Red Hawks baseball game.  Everyone we met was a new best friend and he was calm while waiting to be escorted to the infield. Seeker knows the sit and come commands and takes treats so nicely.  He does pull on leash, but after working with him on not pulling for a very short time, he did do better.  What a fun dog!    To view additional dogs available for adoption, please see our website: www.4luvofdog.org August 1, 2026, 8:12 pm
