We adopted Buster from a passed relative. He is approximately 7 years old based on veterinarian reports. Even though he is very calm and layer back, he does not act old as I would describe. He will still play with kids and run with them if you interact with him. He is extremely loving and gets along with cats and other dogs very well, as well as the perfect dog for children. Never has he been aggressive in any way. In fact if your looking for a guard dog he is not that type. Just laid back, calm, and loving. He definitely could use to get his teeth checked at his age and gets a skin infection from time to time that will need anti-biotics or treatment. Other than that maintenance for him is very low.

I got hank with my husband in 2021 when he was four weeks old. He was surrendered by breeders due to the mom dog stepping on his back and causing swelling to where he wasn’t using his hind legs. He has made a full recovery and is a very lively dog. In 2025, my husband passed and I have tried to make everything work with hank but he has anxiety and dealing with grief and his anxiety has became too much for me. I moved into an apartment from a house with a large yard and Hank needs a home where he can have a yard to get his energy out. He has been very gentle with kids and I think he would do well in a home with kids who he can play with. He gets into a lot of things and has started to show signs of food aggression with my other dog. Overall he is a very good dog, just needs time and energy that I unfortunately no longer have the capacity to give him. I love him so very much but think he deserves better than I can provide him which is why I’m looking to rehome him.

When he is walking outside he has lots of energy and then when he comes inside to the playroom he lays down. Maybe previously he was used to being a couch potato!
