Rowdy is a little over 1 year old, 83.6 pound, Lab (Bluetick Coonhound?) mix. Rowdy joins us through no fault of his own - his family got him being told he would be a medium sized dog (a Blue Heeler mix) and he has grown well beyond that, but in a small 2 bedroom apartment he became too large and they could not continue meeting his needs. Rowdy has shown he needs a little time to adjust, but now that he is settled in his foster home he has shown he is smart, energetic, aims to please, and definitely needs a yard! He has met the foster home's cat and other dogs showing he is one friendly boy who plays a little rough - but does no harm. Mild separation anxiety, would thrive in a home with someone who has a lot of time to spend with her. Great for hikes and bike riding. She is jumper, licker and barker. Is used to having a fenced in yard. Loves car rides. Loves to cuddle and sleep with you at night. Knows commands sit & stay. Treat motivated. Dog friendly. Housebroken.Her adoption fee is $150, this includes her spay, heartworm test, vaccines current, deworming, heartworm/flea prevention and micro chipped. Her dog license is also required to be purchased for Sandusky County residents at time of adoption, which is an additional $21.00.
