Story
Meet Chanito – Your Loyal Little Shadow 🖤 Name: Chanito Age: 6.5 years Weight: 40 lbs Color: Black Energy Level: Medium Barking: Only at other dogs Other Dogs: Prefers to be the only dog Cats: OK Kids: OK with initial monitoring ________________________________________ About Chanito Chanito is a very sweet, loving, and sensitive boy who forms a deep bond with his person. Once he feels safe, he becomes incredibly attentive and affectionate, always happiest when he’s near you. He truly enjoys being pet and will happily settle beside you for a quiet evening once he’s comfortable. In the home, Chanito is calm and well-mannered. He doesn’t bark unnecessarily and is respectful of boundaries. While he may occasionally test whether the couch is fair game, he quickly learns the house rules and sticks to them. Currently, he’s perfectly content relaxing on his designated futon. He sleeps peacefully through the night on his dog bed or pillow (he’s used to having one near his person’s bed) and settles beautifully indoors. ________________________________________ Training & Personality Chanito is food-motivated and eager to please, which makes training a breeze. He: • Sits politely for food • Responds well to “no” • Learns quickly with treats and positive reinforcement He thrives with structure and consistency, and his gentle, sensitive nature means he responds best to kind guidance. ________________________________________ Activity & Exercise Chanito has a medium energy level and enjoys his daily walks—especially keeping an eye out for squirrels! He is not high-strung and doesn’t require excessive exercise. If there is no yard: • 2–3 walks per day (20–45 minutes each) If there is a yard: • One good daily walk is sufficient • At least one longer walk for mental stimulation He’s happy with moderate activity and doesn’t usually want to walk longer than about 45 minutes. Afterward, he loves a dog cookie and will settle calmly at home. He also enjoys simple enrichment like: • Bully sticks • Beef bones • Edible chews • Raw carrots • Dog cookies ________________________________________ Meals & Feeding Chanito is used to two meals per day: Morning: • 2/3 cup kibble mixed with one raw egg Dinner (rotated options): • 2/3 cup kibble with a raw egg • Cooked raw dog meat with white rice • Sardines with white rice • Cooked beef liver with white rice His strong food motivation makes routine and positive reinforcement easy to maintain. ________________________________________ Separation & Sensitivity Chanito feels most secure when his person is nearby. He may follow you from room to room—especially around mealtimes or walk times—but otherwise settles quietly. He is crate trained and stays calm when left alone. He does not bark in his crate; he simply lies down and waits. When you return home, he may whimper or cry until let out. A calm greeting, a nice cuddle, and a special chew treat help him settle quickly. Because he is sensitive, Chanito may need a short adjustment period in a new home. With patience, reassurance, and consistency, he blossoms into a calm and deeply devoted companion. ________________________________________ Ideal Home Chanito would thrive in a home where: • He is the only dog • Someone is home much of the day or gone only for short periods • He has a predictable routine • His person values a close, loyal bond A yard is not required, but consistent daily walks are important. ________________________________________ Why Adopt Chanito? If you’re looking for a steady, loving, and loyal companion who will bond deeply and stay by your side, Chanito may be your perfect match. Once he feels safe, he gives his whole heart. 🖤 He’s ready to find his forever person — could that be you?

Story
Hello, I’m Sebastian 🐾 A 3-year-old Labrador–Doberman mix, about 27 kilos of love, elegance, and joy. I’ve got the long, lean body of a Doberman and the warm, food-loving heart of a Labrador — truly the best of both worlds. My journey hasn’t always been easy. I spent too long in a city shelter and eventually found myself on the euthanasia list. Just in time, Dream Tails stepped in and gave me a second chance, bringing me to their training center — and now I’m ready for the next chapter of my life. I get along wonderfully with other dogs and communicate beautifully with them, showing my feelings clearly and setting boundaries in a calm, respectful way. I walk nicely on leash and don’t pull, making our walks something we can both enjoy. I’m often told I’m very handsome — but what truly sets me apart is my heart. I’m overflowing with love, and every bit of attention makes my heart feel like it might burst. I can’t wait to experience the comfort of a warm home and to finally feel safe with my forever family. Because I haven’t lived in a home before, I might show a little puppy mischief at first as I adjust. With patience, guidance, and understanding, I’ll settle in and thrive — I promise my love will make it all worth it. All I’m dreaming of is a family who will give me time, kindness, and cuddles… especially cozy moments on the sofa with my mommy and daddy. 🫶🏻 Could you be my forever family?

Story
Health Issues - Indy can exhibit anxiety for which he currently takes a low dose/low cost anxiety medication. Temperament - Indy will be extremely loving and loyal to his family and close friends. - Indy is friendly with most dogs and in a controlled one on one environment, has made many buddies. However, on occasion, he will take a dislike to certain dogs. If he’s on leash, best to remove him from the situation, to avoid pulling and lunging. A harness would be better for walks. - Indy gets nervous in new environments and around new people. With patience and treats, he can come around and earn trust. - Indy is an excitable boy with lots of energy. He is very smart, learns easily. - He loves playing in the snow, fetch and running at full speed! - Indy is crate trained and can easily learn that a particular area of the house is his and another is off limits. He is fine being left uncrated as well, and will not push down gates. - Indy has had obedience training and had other training. He knows -Wait (Encouraged to sit and “wait” before leaving or entering house), leave it (also used when walking by squirrels, rabbits, other animals, humans), sit, shake a paw, down, go to your bed. - Indy is muzzled trained, which is required at the vet and in some new situations. - He takes a low dose/low cost anxiety medication Owner Suitability - Indy will do best in a home with less people coming and going. - Indy requires a home with dog savvy people, who understand his insecurities and will have patience in new situations. - Indy will succeed with proper and consistent training, building confidence through this. - He has lived with kids, and did very well with them, but new ones coming in and out of the house could make him uncomfortable, therefore a home without kids under 16 is a must. - A home with no other animals will be best suited for Indy. - Indy would be happy with an active owner, he loves to run, and in the right weather, up to 5km would be fine while he’s young and fit. He is familiar with agility and loves fetch with ball or Frisbee. - This boy absolutely loves cuddles and couch time and will be happy to have lazy days with you! - He would benefit from a fenced in yard, especially since he likes to be free and is most comfortable in familiar places. - His new owner must understand that the vet visit will require a muzzle and possible sedation.
