Story
Ines is a blonde Moroccan beldi dog who is about 9 months old and weighs less than 40 pounds. Ines was found in the middle of the streets in Morocco. They found her in a park surrounded by other male dogs barking at her. They took her and brought her to the vet and spayed her. The area they had found her in is a « hot spot » meaning there are a lot of complaints about dogs and they are in danger there. She is the sweetest girl, so calm and gentle. She was found in a park where kids would play, she is really a super calm dog and would be ok in a home with children. Sometimes a dog takes a little more time to open up, you may see them showing more and more of their personality over the course of the first few days, weeks or even months! We don’t know all that they’ve been through before they were rescued, but they are so forgiving and full of love and it’s worth every tough moment in the end. Developing a trusting relationship with your rescue dog is the most important thing. Stability, patience, positive reinforcement and love are the most important things! Ines is vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and sterilized and will come with her medical booklet. All dogs will come with a trainer willing to help you with any issues and their adaptation to the home.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. WIZ was saved from a kill shelter in Georgia and arrived at Give a Dog a Home Rescue, in Sebec, Maine on 5 April 2024.  Wiz is neutered, rabies, core vaccines, monthly preventatives, and is microchipped with 24PetWatch. He has an estimated date of birth of 27 November 2023 and in April 2024 weighed of 20 pounds. We have no way of knowing the breed, it is up to individuals to look at the pictures and videos to make up their own mind. This sweet boy is still a young pup and so we are looking for families who understand that puppies are a lot of work and need lots of socializing, training, structure and routine. WIZ is such a gentle soul, he can be playful and boisterous one minute and then chilled and relaxing the next. He likes to wrestle and play with his puppy kennel mates, but also is in the middle of the puppy-pile when it is nap time. He will sneak into the other kennel and give me those puppy eyes to give him some sneaky cuddles and ear scratches which just make him melt into my arms - so adorable. We take a lot of pictures and videos and don't always have the time to post them on the dogs individual webpage and adoption site, so we ask that you go to the rescue    YouTube channel   and  photo albums on our Facebook page   to see a LOT of pictures and videos. We are looking for families that have the lifestyle that the dog needs to lead a healthy, both mentally and physically life, who can afford a GOOD quality food, toys and treats and understand the importance of veterinary wellness checks. Wiz is located at the rescue in Sebec Maine and is available for a  reduced adoption  fee of $550. Interested families are required to complete our application process and once approved schedule an appointment to come to the rescue to meet and take home their new best friend. Our process takes 1-2 days as long as we are able to talk to references, so be prepared to be approved (hopefully) to adopt within a few days of submitting the adoption application. https://giveadogahome-rescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=5838 HOUSE TRAINED - All of our dogs are located in the kennel building so we are not able to say if a dog is house-trained, however, they do have access and use the dog door to access their run, play area 24/7. FOOD - We feed a variety of high quality brands and flavors including, chicken, turkey, beef, lamb and fish generally alternated daily. CATS - We do not have cats in the kennels and are not able to say how our dogs are with cats.
