I adopted Juniper from the Humane Society about a year ago. She is now about two years old and still filled with lots of energy! She has such a sweet soul and can be very cuddly, however sometimes her high energy can turn into rough play. I have become busy with school and have not been able to spend the time required to fix these behaviors, nor do I have the money to hire a professional trainer. Juniper loves the run and fetch! She would be best suited living on land where she has freedom, our current situation is not ideal for a dog with her energy. Although she has seemingly endless energy, she is a very loving and loyal dog!

Hi there! I’m Boo — your future best friend with a shiny black coat and an even shinier heart. I’m an 8-year-old black Lab lady weighing in at about 75 pounds of love and loyalty. I’ve grown up around kids and other dogs, so I understand family life. I’m friendly with strangers and always happy to greet new people with a wagging tail. I spend most of my time inside the house, either running free or hanging out in a fenced yard when the weather is nice. At night, I’m perfectly content sleeping on my cozy blanket in the living room — I don’t need anything fancy, just a spot that feels like home. I’m house trained, leash trained, and I ride nicely in the car (windows down is my favorite!). If you need to run errands or head to work, I can handle being alone for about five hours like a champ. I enjoy my routine and settle in well. I’ll be honest — I do like my food and prefer not to share it. A girl has to have some boundaries, right? But outside of mealtime, I’m affectionate, sweet, and love being near my people. My family loves me very much, and this decision is heartbreaking. Their son has been diagnosed with asthma and a severe dog allergy, so they need a pet-free home for his health. They want me safe, loved, and happy — and so do I. My ideal home? Someone kind and loving who will give me snuggles, take me on regular walks, and let me be part of the family. I’m past the puppy chaos stage but still have plenty of happy tail wags left to give. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a gentle heart, I’m your girl.

So we are the best brother and sister you have EVER met! I promise :) We love each other, play together, don't fight over food or toys or friends either!! We do NOT have to be adopted together but just letting you know, if you are looking for a fun pair of siblings! We are DA BESt! Now, we were found on the streets and took care of each other out there... a nice graduate student found us and brought us to the rescue where we are safe, eating every day, have other friends to play with and lots of love and attention..... we are almost oomplete... except we KNOW there is a family or two for us!! Tony is a gorgeous red colored boy, he is medium sized, lanky and so so happy to be loved :D His sister Shelly is smart and sweet and playful and ready for her furever family with all kinds of adventures! My Shadow follows me wherever I go!! That is a little disconcerting, however.... I move fast to see if he can keep up with me :) It is fun to try to outsmart him and it does help me wear me out :) I love me some playtime! Toys, ropes, tug of war time and running are keeping me active to fulfill my Whippet nature and my LAB nature too!! I do take a little thyroid medicine twice a day, but don’t worry—my foster mom says I’m a pro at pill time! A soft bed, a cozy crate, and some snuggles on your lap are my idea of heaven.
