I adopted Marley in 2024 from a shelter in California. They were supposed to take him back but never followed through so I’m posting him on here. He is a super loving boy and is great with all creatures. He needs an experienced dog owner because he has very poor manners and gets into any food product possible. He is either 4-5 years old. He knows “sit” (if you snap and hold your hand high). “Lay down”, “come”, and “back up”. Marley is also very scared of new people and will bark but he has never lunged at anybody or bitten anybody. He warms up within 10 minutes.

Oliver was my dads dog. My dad passed away a few months ago. I cannot keep Oliver where I live any longer. He is a good boy who loves to go on long walks, rides in cars and loves to cuddle. He is not neutered. He is a very smart boy and can do a bunch of tricks. He loves praise and getting awarded with treats. He definitely listens to men better than women. He has never slept outside but he loves to play outside. He will think your bed is his and he also doesnt realize how big he is and think hes a lap dog. It breaks my heart to rehome him but due to my health issues, my landlord not allowing pets & my work schedule he deserves to be with someone who can give him a better life than I can give him.

Hi, I'm Lake! Some dogs rush in like waves, I prefer to settle in like calm water that just feels right. I’m an 8.5 year old Labrador Retriever mix, and I’ve reached that very important stage of life where I enjoy two things equally, going on adventures and immediately following them up with a very serious nap. Balance is everything. I’m a very sweet guy who loves people. Affection is one of my favorite things, and I’m happiest when I’m near my humans, just hanging out and soaking up the good moments in life. I’ve learned that the best days are the simple ones, the walks, the company, and the quiet time together after. Don’t let my age fool you though. I still enjoy getting out and exploring in my own steady, thoughtful way. When it comes to other dogs, I can be a bit selective with my friendships. I know what I like and prefer calm, respectful interactions. But, at this point in my life, I would really love to be the only pet in the home so I can fully enjoy my space, my people, and my well-earned peace. I would do best in a home without cats and as far as kid, I’d do best with those 7 and older who understand that I appreciate a gentle approach and sometimes just need a little space to relax. I’m very sweet, I just like things calm and predictable as I enjoy my golden years in style. I’m a loyal, loving companion who is looking for a home where I can settle in, be close to my people, and enjoy life at a peaceful pace. Look DEEP into my eyes :).I am such a sweet and gentle girl with a heart of gold and so much love to share! My life was ruff before I landed here at the rescue, I was at the pound with my puppies, all 8 of them!! I was really blessed that I got to stay with them and get pled to a rescue, most mamas and pups are separated because most rescues prefer pups over mamas ;( But not MY rescue, I am just as loved as my pups are and I don't have all the puppy antics to handle :) So here I am, looking marvelous and waiting for that family who wants a soft and sweet girl to grace their couch...
