Captain was found on 7/2/26 at Longfellow PL. He came into the shelter already neutered. If you believe this is your missing dog, please contact the shelter at (541) 689-1503. Since this dog is new to the shelter and we are still looking for their family, they are not viewable on the adoption floor at this time.The shelter staff is giving me some time to settle in and adjust to this new place. As we get to know each other a little better, the behavior team and veterinary staff will then be evaluating my needs. Please stay tuned for my updated information!Our shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs can be unreliable and for most dogs we are only guessing at their primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road, Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. Hi, I`m Sundial! I`m about 5 years old and weigh 73 pounds. I have a medical waiver talking about my spay scar, staff can chat further with you about this.Do you like...Dogs? I`ve done well meeting a friendly male dog. Bring any dogs from home to meet me!Cats? Unknown. Slow and supervised introductions would help set me up for success. Ask staff for handouts!Kids? I`d like to start out meeting kids 7+. Bring them by to meet me!Anything else you`d like us to know, Sundial? I`m such a sweet lovey lady who would make a great balanced compainion.I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. Meet Spidey! Spidey is a 6 month old Lab mix and the sibling of Cosmo. He is a sweet, playful puppy who loves to explore the world around him and spend time with his people. Like most puppies his age, Spidey enjoys running around, playing with toys, and wrestling with his siblings before settling down for some well deserved naps. Spidey has a curious personality and is always interested in what is going on around him. He enjoys attention and affection and will happily stick close to his humans once he warms up. He is still learning all the puppy basics like house training and manners, but he is a smart boy and eager to learn. Available in TX only! King is a one year old Basset Hound/Lab mix with a gentle soul and a laid back nature. He is still gaining confidence and can be scared of new things, especially loud noises, but once he feels safe he settles in nicely. When he gets excited he can be a little jumpy, though most of the time he is calm and easygoing. King truly enjoys running around the yard, going on walks, and soaking up outdoor time. He has a playful side and loves playing fetch with frisbees and balls. Tug of war is another favorite game, and he is a big fan of chew time. Knuckle bones, hard chew toys for power chewers, and anything he can safely gnaw on make him very happy. King is crate trained and house trained, which makes him an easy addition to a home. King does have a prey drive and enjoys chasing squirrels and frogs, and he will chase cats, so a cat free home is recommended. He also has a sensitive stomach and does best on sensitive stomach dog food. King would thrive in a patient, understanding home that will give him time to build confidence and continue showing him the world is a safe place.
