Story
Meet Dante When Dante first came to us through the dog warden, he was in rough shape — his skin was severely irritated, and much of his fur was missing from his back. Despite how uncomfortable he must have been, Dante’s gentle spirit still shone through. With time, care, and lots of love, he’s made an incredible recovery — and now this sweet boy is ready to find a family of his own. Dante is estimated to be between 1–2 years old and has the perfect mix of youthful energy and loving affection. He’s ready for long walks, belly rubs, and the chance to finally experience what it means to be truly home. If you’d like to give Dante the fresh start he deserves, visit www.nokillarc.org to fill out a pre-approval form today!

Story
If you’ve seen The Land Before Time, then you know Spike was always happiest when he had friends by his side and plenty of room to explore. Our Spike isn’t a dinosaur, but he does share that adventurous spirit!Spike came to ARC after being found running loose with two other dogs for over a week. While we don’t know what his life looked like before, we do know he’s ready to leave that chapter behind and start a new one with a family of his own.Estimated to be 1–2 years old, Spike is a young, energetic Lab mix who is always ready for the next adventure. Whether it’s hiking, long walks, training sessions, or playing in the yard, Spike is looking for a family that can keep both his mind and body active.Like many dogs who have experienced uncertainty, Spike has shown some anxiety while adjusting to shelter life. He would do best with patient, committed adopters who will continue his training, provide structure, and help him learn that he’s safe and loved. In return, you’ll gain a loyal companion who’s eager to bond with his people. Every dinosaur eventually found their way to the Great Valley. Now it’s Spike’s turn to find the place where he truly belongs. Could your home be Spike’s Great Valley?

Story
Hello I am looking to rehome my 5 year old dog named Theo. He is a lab/pitt mix. He is super affectionate and loves to snuggle. He doesn't like being alone and can be protective of his home. He is great around kids. He is also housebroken. His previous owner told us he was good with other dogs, but we honestly never had him around any. He does NOT get along with cats. We are looking for a more loving home for Theo. He deserves more attention and affection than he gets from us. My husband works long hours and I am disabled which makes it difficult for me to care for him while my husband is away. Theo is a very sweet and loving dog please help us find his forever home. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me April five 7 zero four 1 five 2 eight 0 two

Story
Meet Zero. Zero came to us with over 100 animals from a cruelty case over 3 years ago. After 1,045 days, we FINALLY gained ownership of them in December of 2024! Merry Christmas to us!! After so long of only having our staff every day, they’re extremely timid. They can be nervous & scared when meeting new people, so a few meetings are required. She has so much love to give, she’s just scared of new things. She has a lot of confidence-building that she needs to work on, and she needs someone who’s willing to work with her and has that patience. We know that there is a special someone out there who has the compassion and understanding of the life she’s lived before coming to us.
