Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Monty Monty is a gentle 10-year-old boy who’s been through more than he deserves. He was found on a lonely road with nothing but a bag of dog food beside him — most likely abandoned. Despite his past, Monty still believes in love and second chances. This big sweetheart may have been a couch potato in a former life, because he absolutely loves lounging on a sofa. He also enjoys his walks, strolling nicely on a leash, and when it’s playtime, tug-of-war and toys are his favorite! Monty is healthy, neutered, vaccinated, and on monthly flea/tick/heartworm preventatives. Most importantly, he’s ready to bring joy and love into his forever home. If you’re looking for a big, gentle, loveable boy to make your life complete, please fill out an adoption application at www.haventohome.org. Monty is waiting for his happily ever after — maybe with you!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet. Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.  We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions. We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.  Thank you!September 12, 2025, 10:27 am

Story
Quinn is a 7 year old lab mix we adopted when she was only 4 months old. She has a heart of gold and is wonderful with kids, cats, and other dogs. My wife and I move a lot and are growing our family, making owning any pets difficult at this time. We love her and want her to have the best possible life and it really pains us to admit that we are not giving her the life she deserves. Quinn does have some separation anxiety, especially when we are outside without her. She is also afraid of thunderstorms.

Story
Meet Dante When Dante first came to us through the dog warden, he was in rough shape — his skin was severely irritated, and much of his fur was missing from his back. Despite how uncomfortable he must have been, Dante’s gentle spirit still shone through. With time, care, and lots of love, he’s made an incredible recovery — and now this sweet boy is ready to find a family of his own. Dante is estimated to be between 1–2 years old and has the perfect mix of youthful energy and loving affection. He’s ready for long walks, belly rubs, and the chance to finally experience what it means to be truly home. If you’d like to give Dante the fresh start he deserves, visit www.nokillarc.org to fill out a pre-approval form today!
