He needs a loving home where he will be a valued family member! He is smart, a good companion, enjoys other dogs. He's neutered, vaccinated, microchipped. He likes car rides too! He'd be a great dog for an active family who wants to take their dog places with them. 15 mos old. 50 lb.

I love going to the dog park, playing keep away with my toys, chewing on my squeaker toys, swimming, running, getting treats with my foster mom, and cuddling with her since I'm a huge lap dog (and I fit perfectly in laps)! I might be nervous at first, but once I warm up to you, I'll be your best friend! Hello! My name is Oakley. If you're looking for a dog with a lot of spunk and a playful personality, then I'm the dog for you! I'm a one-year-old tan colored male Lab, and I am 72 pounds of pure love and loyalty. I was abandoned by my previous owner at a local hotel in Columbia, SC. My foster mom found me on Facebook as I was getting ready to head to the shelter and stepped in to save me. I love to meet new people. Sometimes I like to greet with a hug or handshake, but other times I just get too excited! Maybe you can help me learn my manners? Don't worry though, I will stop when you ask me too. I do well around other dogs (big or small), and men, women, and children who are older-I may accidentally knock smaller children down. I don't always realize my size and strength sometimes when I'm having fun!!! I am good with children. I'm house trained and crate trained.I am okay with friendly cats. I am friendly and curious and I like to play with them. (Will need a dog-friendly kitty if one is in the home). I know the commands sit, stay and lay down. I love car rides and being groomed.I am working on leash training and making great progress. Mom says I am very trainable: treat and food motivated and I love to please. All in all, I am a perfect pup! Would you be willing to open your heart and your home to a good boy like me?Oakley is part of our Home to Home Program. Hey Future Family, my name is Murphy! I am a 7-year-old lab mix who is looking for my forever family. I am sad to be leaving my current family, I've been with them my whole life, but unfortunately, I don't do so well with toddlers...they are a little too busy for me. On top of that, I've been through a rough year; I survived a house-fire with my family and since that trauma, I've had more stress and anxiousness from so much change. I'm also fearful of storms! I'm ready for a home that provides consistency, love, snuggles, a fenced yard to run and enjoy the sunshine. I'm on Purina Pro Plan Veterinary diet, which settles my stomach. I'm a very sensitive boy! Ideally, I can be the only pet in the house so I don't have to compete for attention. I was an only child for 5 years.My current family says I can even bring all my own stuff with me! I am ready- I've got my dog beds, bowls, toys and more. I am a good boy! I am protective and will let you know when someone comes to visit and take a minute to warm up. I will sleep at the foot of the bed to make sure you are safe and extra cozy. I can't wait to take you on long walks, play outside, and show you all my tricks. Please consider me to be your newest baby. I can't wait to meet you! I may take some time to adjust, please be patient with me as I've had a lot of changes.
