Rocco is a handsome boy who did not deserve to be dumped at a SC kill shelter. When we saw his sad, confused face, we knew we had to help him! He is very loyal, smart, housetrained and will wait for his food like a well trained fella. He will chill on the couch or he`s up for a walk or a little fetch in the backyard. Rocco has been through a lot but remains hopeful a home is out there for him. He was a bit too interested in the cat in his first foster, so a cat free home is best. He has been fine with dogs, but does not need a dog to be happy. Love from a person is a must! 7 yrs. 60 lb. Neuter, vaccines, microchip provided.

When he first arrived, Cooper was underweight, but thanks to their care and attention, he is now gaining weight and thriving.Cooper gets along well with other dogs and genuinely enjoys playing outside. He is equally content spending time indoors and sleeps in a crate at night. He has not displayed any signs of aggression or protectiveness toward the other dogs in the household. Loretta belonged to my old roommate and lived with me for 4 years. My roommate moved out with her and they moved in with his dad and he went to rehab. He got out of rehab and was doing ok. I decided to watch Loretta while his dad was on vacation. After the time was up I wasnt getting contacted. I reached out and was told he would not be picking the dog up and I needed to figure it out. I then reached out to ex roommate and told him situation and he said he was going to figure it out. In the mean time Loretta and my 9 year old pit has gotten into 2 almost deadly fights. They live in a crate rotation system and are both declining mentally. I can not keep her and he is not willing to help me rehome her. My mental health and home life are in ruins and both dogs are deteriorating right in front of my eyes. Any help would be appreciated. Loretta gets along great with kids and cats and usually dogs up until that point.
