Story
Ive had Harper for about a year. When I got her, she was pretty much terrified of everything. It took me several weeks to get her comfortable at all in the house, and to do that, I had to tie her leash around my waist during the day and have her walk around everywhere w/ me. That worked pretty well, at least to the point where there were certain "safe" places within the house, including her bed in my bedroom, her bed in the kitchen, & the living room. Shes gotten more comfortable in the house over time, except for doorways, which for some reason have always made her nervous lol. Also, she;s always been very happy outside in the yard & on walks. I;d love to keep her myself, except I feel she really needs a more active home, preferably with another, younger dog to play with. My other dog is 12, & while they get along fine, she really doesn;t play much at all. I just don;t think my home is the right one for Harper - she;s desperate to play when she;s outside, & she needs a buddy!

Story
🚨 URGENT FOSTER NEEDED — THIS ENTIRE FAMILY WILL BE KILLED Katie Bell & Her 7 Babies • All Suffering From Severe Demodex & Secondary Infections They need OUT immediately. Katie Bell and her newborn puppies came into the shelter through our Managed Intake program after their owner, who struggles with severe mental health issues, was unable to care for them. This precious little family has been through absolute hell, and they will not survive the shelter without immediate placement. Mama Katie Bell began losing her fur while she was pregnant, and shortly after birth, all the puppies began losing theirs as well. They are now all completely bald and suffering from: 🐾 Severe generalized alopecia (~90%) 🐾 Crusting, scaling, and greasy exudate 🐾 Confirmed demodectic mange 🐾 Secondary bacterial & yeast skin infections The ENTIRE family is affected. They have received medicated baths, and staff are doing everything they can… but this is a shelter. There is no safe, quiet place for newborns, no way to keep their fragile immune systems protected, and no way for Katie Bell to properly care for them here. Despite everything, this mama is a fighter and an angel. She was understandably protective at first, but she has now opened her heart. She loves treats, accepts gentle affection, and has started giving the sweetest kisses. She KNOWS the humans trying to help her mean well. But without a foster or rescue IMMEDIATELY, this entire family will be euthanized. ⸻ 🌟 WE NEED A FOSTER OR RESCUE NOW — TODAY This sweet mama and her babies deserve a chance to heal. A chance to feel softness, warmth, safety. A chance to grow fur again. A chance to live. Their condition is 100% treatable, but NOT in a shelter. PLEASE HELP TEXT KAREN 4136298152

Story
Hi, my name is Cash!I’m a big, goofy, sweet-hearted boy who loves to play and make my people laugh. I’ve got a silly personality and a whole lot of love to give! I’m still learning how to share—food and toys are my favorite things—so I’d do best with an experienced forever family who understands my boundaries and can help me continue my training.I also occasionally have seizures, but they don’t define me or slow down my joy for life. With a little care and attention, I do great and bring so much happiness to the people around me.Because I’ve had some trust issues in the past, it takes me a little time to feel safe with new people. I warm up beautifully, but I’ll need multiple visits so we can build a bond at my pace. Once I decide you’re my person, I’m loyal, loving, and all-in.I may be a big guy, but that just means there’s more of me to love. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate companion with tons of personality—and you’re willing to take the time to earn my trust—I might just be your perfect match! My adoption fee of $50 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org. Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday, Friday and Saturday are walk in from 10-5. Please fill out the online application, and you will be contacted if you are approved and are a good fit for one of our adoptable pets.

Story
Coal’s story began when someone witnessed him being dumped from a car. Coal tried to chase after the car as it drove away, and a quick-thinking Good Samaritan rescued him before he got hurt. Despite that heartbreaking start, Coal has an incredibly bright spirit! He loves people and he loves life. He’s a happy, social boy with all the best Labrador traits—smart, energetic, playful, and incredibly friendly. Coal adores toys and especially loves carrying sticks. He’ll proudly parade them around, toss them in the air, or bring one to you to start a game of tug or chase. If he brings you a stick, it means you’re his favorite. Coal has long legs and runs and leaps like a gazelle. He enjoys wrestling, playing tug, running with dog friends, and snuggling when he’s all tuckered out. Coal is crate trained, potty trained and knows how to sit for a treat. He’s still a puppy and working hard on his basic manners, but Coal is very smart and eager to learn. He’s done well with kids of all ages and absolutely loves dogs!-----My adoption fee of $50 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Meet Glenn! This adorable 1 year old labrador mix came to us from a local shelter with his siblings after they were seized from a sad hoarding situation. Now, he is living the good life in a foster home! From mastering his potty training, to being crate trained within 4 days, Glenn is a smart boy who's got it all. Glenn loves other dogs and does great with cats - he's even met horses and donkeys! He is a sucker for a good cuddle and is VERY treat motivated, which makes training this handsome guy a breeze.
