Story
A shy, overlooked gem who has quietly been waiting for someone to notice him. Shaydo may not demand attention but he certainly deserves it. He may not be the flashiest or most outgoing pup in the room, but what he offers is kindness and gentle companionship. With a touch of silliness. Shaydo gets along well with other dogs and would greatly benefit from sharing his home with a canine friend who can help show him the ropes of house living. He doesn’t need constant stimulation or endless activity, but he does need a patient and compassionate owner. He would be happiest in a home where he can settle in at his own pace and with time we know he will blossom into a loyal, devoted companion.

Story
*Please note this is a courtesy listing. Faith is not in the care of Concerned Citizens for Animals and inquiries should be directed to Natalie at 864-325-6563 rather than the shelter.* Sweet, gentle Faith found herself without her person when her mom was recently placed in a care home. She is hoping for a new home where she can feel safe and loved again. Faith is being lovingly cared for by her mom's daughters, who visit multiple times a day, but she deserves a home where someone is there all the time. Faith is a little shy at first, and she is surely missing her mom, but she warms up with patience and a soft voice. Cheese helps too. She is fully house trained and enjoys roaming her backyard at her own pace, sniffing the bushes and enjoying the sunshine. Faith's ideal home is a calm, quiet one with a laid back routine. She would thrive with someone who will let her settle in gently and be her steady companion. A slower pace and a peaceful household are all she asks for. If you have room in your home and heart for this gentle girl, please call or text Natalie.

Story
www.pet-tender.com/adoptionform.htm   â€‹Meet Champion: A Smart, Loyal Boy Ready for His Person Champion was born approximately 2020 and is a truly special dog who is looking for a patient, understanding adopter to help him write his next chapter. Rescued from a difficult hoarding situation, Champion spent his early life with very little socialization. Because of this, the world can still feel a bit overwhelming to him. He is not a dog who will jump into a stranger's arms right away—it takes time and patience for him to acclimate to new people. But for the person willing to put in that time, the reward is unmatched. Champion is incredibly smart, highly trainable, and intensely loyal once he knows you are his safe haven. Champion’s Perfect Match: An Adult-Only Home: Because of his background and need for a predictable environment, Champion needs a home without children. A Quiet, Low-Traffic Environment: A calm household where he won't be constantly bombarded by new faces or loud noises. A Patient Leader: Someone who understands that trust is earned, and who is excited to bond with a clever, devoted dog through training and routine. Champion has so much potential and a deep capacity for loyalty. He just needs one person to give him the time he deserves to show it. We have chosen Kuranda dog beds for our boarding facilities because they are so good for our dogs. We still don't have enough for all of our kennels. If you would like to donate a bed so another dog can sleep in proper comfort, please click here. July 7, 2026, 4:11 pm

She is extremely loving and affectionate with those she trusts, but she does need someone committed to continued work with her. She loves to snuggle on the couch, play with her best canine buddy, do zoomies, and loves Nubz treats! She has a beautiful smile and is absolutely adorable when she's feeling playful and feisty. She just needs that special person who will love her despite her fears and need for reassurance. Lacie is a very smart girl, a very pretty girl, and a girl who didn't really know what it felt like to be loved in the past...but she's really enjoying it now. If you'd like to make a difference in the life of a dog who just needs a little more help, Lacie is a girl who would appreciate your love! ##1355248##

Story
✨ 2026: THE YEAR CERA’S LONG WAIT ENDS? ✨ Cera has spent over 730 days in rescue. She has watched hundreds of dogs find their families, always wagging her tail and hoping the next person through the door is coming for her. 🐾💛 Despite being returned recently through no fault of her own, Cera’s spirit hasn't wavered. She is still the same resilient, goofy, and incredibly affectionate girl we fell in love with two years ago. Why Cera belongs in your home: 👑 The Queen of Affection: She’s the ultimate "leaner"—she’ll gently rest her paw on your leg just to make sure you know she’s there for a belly rub. 🍟 The Perfect Co-Pilot: She absolutely ADORES car rides. Whether it’s a trip to the park or a quick fast-food run for some fries, she’s ready to hop in the backseat! 🏡 Easy Living: Cera is fully potty-trained, spayed, and vaccinated. She’s polite, quiet in the house, and a dream for an active family. 💦 Water Enthusiast: Love the lake or the pool? So does Cera! 🎂 MIMI’S BIRTHDAY SPECIAL: 🎂 To honor Mimi’s Birthday, all adoption fees are WAIVED for the month of January! We want 2026 to be the year Cera finally sleeps in her own forever bed. (Donations to Mimi’s Place are always welcomed to help us care for long-term residents like our sweet Cera.) Cera is a "Queen Bee" who would love to be your only dog or live with a respectful male or younger female friend. She has so much love saved up from the last two years—she just needs someone to give it to. Let’s end her wait today! Story
Since this is for his official Adopt-a-Pet bio, we want to balance that great, catchy hook with clear, upfront information. Adopt-a-Pet bios need to be easy to skim for potential adopters who are browsing through dozens of profiles, while still being fully transparent about his medical needs. Here is a beautifully formatted bio ready to copy and paste: 🧙‍♂️ Meet Merlin: The Magical, Turn-Key Good Boy! Age: 3 Years | Breed: Lab Mix | Status: Available for Adoption/Medical Foster Looking for a dog who already knows the ropes? Meet Merlin! Found wandering the streets, this resilient boy hasn't let his past dim his spirit for a second. He is a total "plug-and-play" pup who is ready to slide right into a loving home. Why You’ll Fall in Love with Merlin: Leash Pro: He is an absolute dream to walk—no pulling here! Crate Champion: He’s so smart he actually crates himself when it’s time to come inside. Polite Gentleman: "Sit" and "Come" are already part of his vocabulary. Social Butterfly: Incredibly friendly, affectionate, and ready to be your loyal sidekick. 📝 A Note on Merlin's Medical Journey: Merlin was recently all set for his neuter and adoption when our vet discovered a heart murmur during his pre-op exam. Because of this, his surgery is temporarily on hold, and his original adopters backed out. Merlin has absolutely no idea his heart has a little extra "thump" to it—he is currently happy, active, and completely asymptomatic! However, his journey looks a little different now. We are looking for a committed adopter (or a dedicated medical foster) who is willing to navigate his vetting journey with us. Mimi's Place will happily discuss his veterinary findings and next steps with serious applicants. Merlin is an absolute jackpot of a dog who just needs a family willing to give him the extra grace and commitment he deserves. 🪄 Ready to bring some magic into your life? If you have room in your heart and home for a truly special boy, please submit an application today!
