Story
Phoebe isn't just a dog-she's your best friend, confidant, and your biggest fan. This loving pup thrives on companionship and is looking for a home where she can be by your side, offering unconditional love every step of the way. Phoebe would do best in a home where someone is often around—whether you work from home, have a flexible schedule, or simply love having a furry shadow following you from room to room. She’s a gentle soul who just wants to love and be loved. Phoebe’s heart is as big as her wagging tail. She’s great on walks, loves cuddle sessions, and is eager to please. With patience, understanding, and a stable routine, Phoebe will flourish and show you just how deep her devotion runs. Phoebe does well with younger and older dogs she currently is in a foster home with an almost two-year-old male and an almost 15-year-old female and they get along great. There are a lot of zoomie sessions with the younger pup in the backyard. She also gets along with older cats (have not tested kittens). She is completely housetrained.

Story
Darla is a sweet fun loving girl. She has typical shepherd markings on a sturdy lab body. Darla seems to love everyone but full charming, fun personality emerges. She's the perfect mix of chill and playful. Her German Shepherd line means she's going to bond with you and her family. She is especially fond of women and would do fantastic with a single woman who wants a dog that will alert to dangers but will do well in a family environment too. She'll be right there wherever you go in the house. Darla knows some basic commands like sit, shake, sit up, and is pretty good about staying. She loves to play with dogs similar to her size and loves playing outside.. okay she just loves to play. She loves squeaky toys, though they won't last long! She can find a squeaker in no time. She also needs tough chew toys. Darla is house-trained, rides well in a car, and will sleep in crate all night. She would prefer to sleep on a dog bed, in your room, and not make a peep. Darla is spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. She is heartworm negative and waiting for her forever home. Darla is fostered in North Alabama but is available to other areas via transport. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, is heartworm negative and on preventatives. Apply at https:/forrescue.net

Story
Frankie If you’re looking for a laid-back companion with a heart as big as his paws, that’s exactly what you’ll find in Frankie, a 4-5 year old Lab/Hound mix! This gentle giant is the perfect mix of chill and charm. He loves to spend his days soaking up the sun, lounging on the couch, and being close to his people. Frankie also enjoys walks and is a dream on a leash. He’s polite, well-mannered, and loves every minute of his outdoor adventures. He is very food motivated, which makes training easy and fun! He already knows basic commands like sit, stay, come, and leave it, and is always eager to learn! While Frankie enjoys the company of other dogs, he prefers those that match his relaxed, easygoing energy. He’s not a fan of cats, so he would do best in a home where he’s the only pet or with dog siblings who understand his mellow nature. This sweet boy is looking for a forever home where he can be exactly what he was born to be: someone’s best friend. Frankie is ready to fill your home with love, loyalty, and plenty of cozy moments. If you are interested in adopting Frankie please fill out an application on our website forrescue.net.
