Jennie (Nick names: Jen Jen or Jen Pie) is a SUPER SWEET dog; sticks with you like glue; is a spade, short-hared, 39 1/2 lb, Black Lab/Bernese Mtn Dog, born end of Aug 24 (about 5.5 months); been to puppy school; knows commands of sit, down, stay, shake, off, place, heel (needs more walking practice); LOVES toys & to play fetch (would be helpful to a hunter maybe); sticks very close to you if you treat her well & spend time with her); is potty trained (though may regress in shelter?); & had some crate training. She LOVES people, including kids; is dog reactive on leash, but plays well with my hound/pit & pups she was around at puppy school, but she & my German Hunt terrier have gotten into fights (dominant, jealous, hunt terrier may start it, not sure). Not cat-friendly. She tends to want to grab cat (who usually stays downstairs) if she sees her. Adopt from Elizabethton/Carter County Animal Shelter at 135 Sycamore Shoals Rd, Elizabethton, TN.
