He's happiest when he's playing fetch, splashing in water (and occasionally mud), or heading out on outdoor adventures with his favorite human. Despite his size, Wesley is a cuddle bug who thinks he’s a lap dog and loves winding down on the couch after an active day. He gets along with other dogs but truly prefers one-on-one time with his person. Wesley is very food-motivated and a bit of a clever counter-surfer, so keeping snacks out of reach is a must. He can be protective of his toys and tends to jump with excitement when he’s happy to see you. Because of a difficult past with a previous owner, Wesley can show some anxiety, especially during long periods alone and nail trims, which are best handled by professionals. With patience, love, and reassurance, he thrives and shows just how sweet and loyal he is. Wesley is a wonderful companion looking for a caring home.

She’s never lived with a cat but would get along with one if there was one in the house. Loves to hang out under the kitchen table or in her crate but would rather cuddle on the couch. House trained. Loves anything outdoors especially swimming in the pool or lake. Loves walks and to be a companion. Walks good on a leash. She just wants to be loved. Easy to train. Her favorite trick is to bow.
