Story
Buddy is around a year old and he came to us as a stray. We had him fixed and shots. He is playful but my other dog has attacked him multiple times over food. He has learned to keep his distance from Patches who is a catahoula dog. Twice buddies size. Buddy is around 30 pounds. I would describe in one word who Buddy is, he is a rascal. I am currently working his bad habit of chasing trailers golf carts and bicycles.. Buddy would make a true dog lover a good dog. I have a training collar that makes sound vibrates and can release 2 levels of shock. He comes to me when I call or pressing sound button on collar remote. Buddy would make a good watchdog! With the heat Buddy has spent time indoors and has been well behaved and has been allowed to sleep in with no potty issues and no chewing!

Story
Meet Maggie! Maggie is the perfect mix of cuddly and crazy—she’ll melt into your arms one minute and be zooming around like a goofball the next! She’s full of love, full of energy, and always ready to make you smile. Whether she’s snuggling up for nap time or bouncing through playtime, Maggie brings joy wherever she goes. She comes up-to-date on all her vaccinations, and if she’s over a year old, she’ll have her rabies shot too. If she’s not fully grown yet, she won’t be spayed at adoption—we believe in waiting to avoid early spay hormone issues. As outlined in our adoption contract, she’ll need to be spayed by age 2.

Story
Jack wasn’t looking for a new home—he just needed a safe place to land. One day, he appeared near our house, a little rough around the edges but with a quiet confidence that said he’d seen a lot. We think he’s around nine years old, though his spirit is still young. He was drawn to our home, likely because we already had another dog, and before long, he started hanging around more often. We fed him, gave him space, and he stayed. Our neighbors found him first and had his microchip scanned. That’s how we learned his name: Jack. But when they contacted the person listed on the chip, they were told, “We don’t have a dog.” Just like that, Jack’s past was a mystery—and his future was ours to shape. Jack quickly proved himself to be more than just a stray. He became our unofficial guard dog, always alert but never aggressive. He kept the critters at bay and even had a few run-ins with the neighbor’s donkey, earning some battle scars along the way. At one point, he was run over by a truck trailer—but somehow, Jack pulled through. Tough doesn’t even begin to describe him. Despite everything, Jack has a heart of gold. He loves people, greets everyone with a wagging tail, and has a gentle soul that shines through his rugged exterior. He’s a survivor, a protector, and a friend. As much as we love Jack, we’ve come to realize he needs more space and care than we can give. But we know he’s ready for his next chapter—with someone who sees the same strength, loyalty, and love that we do.

Story
Meet Percy! Percy is a little miracle with a big personality! He was bottle-fed as a baby, so he’s extra bonded to people—and he’s not shy about letting you know how he feels. This chatty boy loves to talk, whether he’s telling you it’s dinner time or just sharing his thoughts on the day. Sweet, social, and full of love, Percy is ready to be someone’s loyal sidekick for life. He’s up-to-date on vaccinations, and if he’s over a year old, his rabies vaccine is included too. If he’s still growing, he won’t be neutered yet—we hold off to avoid hormone issues from early altering. Percy will need to be neutered by age 2, as noted in our adoption contract.
