Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Wallis is a super sweet older lady. Currently in foster with many dogs and a few cats, she meets dogs generally well and does great with them in the home. She does chase the cats enough that we would prefer her in a home without cats, but also ignores them enough that she can be in a home if the owners are prepared to fuss every so often when she gets a wild hair to chase them. Maggie is super laid back and sweet so she would do great with kids we believe. Does well loose in the house and is not destructive. She uses the reusable puppy pads more often than she goes outside, but if you consistently take her outside then she would only go outside. So she is housetrained with consistency. She is highly food motivated so must be monitored during feedings or separated, but otherwise is very laid back with a small desire to play once in a blue moon. She mostly just wants to cuddle with you and get pets. She has an upper respiratory issue that we are still working to diagnose and it may or may not be something chronic that she will have all her life BUT she is healthy and happy otherwise. She has had bloodwork and xrays because of her hernia repair so we know she is looking good outside of a snotty nose.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 15, 2026, 8:39 pm
