You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hello Everyone! My name is River. I was being fostered by a nice lady until the Olive Branch had room to take me. I am easy going and flowing just like a River, but I'm still a puppy and  have momments that I get excited and cannot contain all that energy in my  body. The kind staff here are working on leash training and also few commands. I seem to get along with the other dogs here and  I would love to meet any of your furry companions before I go into your home. I have been neutered,  fully vaccinated, combo tested (all negative), and my preventives are up-to-date. So, I'm good to go! If you are interested in adopting me, please visit our website- olivebranchwv.org to fill out the adoption application if you would like to make me a part of your family.  I hope to see you soon!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 26, 2024, 10:27 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi there! My name is Raven. I came to the Olive Branch from a county shelter to help me find my forever home. When I came in I was scared and couldn't trust the staff... But with a little love and care I was able to trust the kind staff that are taking care of me. Now I love to get belly rubs and play in the dog yard here. You can tell I am happy by the smile I have on my face! I can smile on comand, sit and also lay down on command. I am spayed, current on vaccines and preventatives, and combo tested. I tested positive for Lyme Disease, but I was treated with a 30 day cycle of Doxycycline. I get along good with dogs and cats. If interested I would like a meet and greet. To adopt me, go to our website (olivebranchwv.org) and fill out our application. I hope to see you soon!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 26, 2024, 10:27 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Waylon, a charming and unique pup in search of his forever home. Waylon has a heart that yearns for the great outdoors, making him an ideal candidate for a farm setting where he can thrive. He's happiest when he's soaking up the sun and feeling the breeze in his fur. Waylon's independent spirit shines through as he shows a preference for the open air and a life spent outdoors. He's not one for car rides, but who needs them when you have acres to explore? Waylon has shown remarkable compatibility with both feline and canine companions, proving that he's a team player ready to embrace a new pack. This 82-pound, 5-year-old sweetheart is a true gem. He's proven himself to be a gentle giant who adores the company of kids and adults alike. Waylon's loving nature knows no bounds, and his eyes light up with hope as he dreams of a forever family to call his own. He comes equipped with all the essentials for a healthy start in his new home. Waylon has been microchipped and received thorough health checks, including a 4DX test, DHLPP vaccinations, and rabies vaccination. It's worth noting that he has tested positive for Lyme disease, but he's already undergone treatment with 30 days of Doxycycline, showing his resilience and eagerness to overcome any obstacle. Waylon's journey has led him from the county pound to Crossed Paws, and now he's ready to take the next step – finding his forever family. His adoption fee has been sponsored.  If you're ready to open your heart and home to a devoted companion who dreams of wide-open spaces and endless love, consider welcoming Waylon into your life. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hello there! My name is Darla. I might be one of the shelter's senior citizens at approximately 8 years old, but I'm young at heart and ready to share all the love I have to offer. I'm a lab/hound mix with a heart of gold, and I can't wait to find my forever home. Despite some arthritis & a heart murmur, I've been feeling much better lately, especially now that I have space to run and stretch my legs. Life wasn't always this great – I spent a lot of my time tied up to a box, but those days are behind me. I've found happiness here at the shelter, and I can only imagine how wonderful life will be in a real home where I can move around freely and share all my affection. I've been spayed, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworms and 4DX. I did test positive for Lyme disease, but don't worry, I've received the treatment I needed. I'm good with other dogs, cats, and kids – I'm a real people (and animal) lover! If you're looking for a loyal companion who's always up for some cuddles and playtime, I'm your girl. Fill out an application on our website or call the shelter at 740-934-2693 to arrange a meeting. Share my story with your family and friends, and let's make sure I find the loving forever home I truly deserve. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Nova! Nova arrived at our shelter on 4/4/24, and she's currently in the process of adjusting to her new surroundings. This sweet girl is beginning to settle in and is revealing her calm and gentle nature to us. Nova absolutely adores attention and isn't shy about asking for it – she'll let out a little whine to capture your heart! On 4/9/24, Nova embarked on her very first walk with us, and to our amazement, she walked on a leash like a true professional! Her leash manners are on point, making outdoor adventures with her a breeze. During her initial health assessment on 4/8/24, Nova received her rabies vaccination & underwent 4DX testing and unfortunately, she tested positive for Lyme disease. However, there's no need to worry – Nova is currently on a 30-day course of Doxycycline to combat the infection. Once she completes her treatment, she'll be ready to receive her DHLPP and Bordetella vaccinations to ensure she's in the best of health.  She weighs approximately 67 pounds. As Nova continues to settle in and we learn more about her personality and preferences, we'll be sure to update her profile. Keep checking back for more information on this lovely girl!
