Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hello, my name is Lynx. I came to the Olive Branch as a stray. Sadly, no one came to claim me, so here I am looking for a new forever home. I am a very active young boy, who loves to run. I'm a little too active for small children, but older ones or teens would be good. I seem to get along with most dogs and would love to meet any dogs in your home, just to make sure we will be good friends. My fondest hope is to find an active family that will take me on adventures. I love to explore and experience new things. The only deal breaker for me would be cats. Chasing cats is such fun... fun for me, but probably not the cats. So, a home without cats for me would be ideal! I have been neutered , vaccinated, dewormed, combo tested (all negative) and up to date with my preventives. If you think I would be a good match, please fill out the adoption application at olivebranchwv.org. Hope to see you soon. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 3, 2025, 12:02 pm

Ching (4/15/25) and his brother Chong have recently arrived from the beautiful island of St Croix, USVI. Ching, a lab/terrier mix, weighs around 27 pounds and will most likely max out around 35-40 pounds. Ching is a very sweet boy who is a little shy when meeting new people, but warms up quickly when given a few hugs or a body rub. He has been raised with cats and is doing very well with his potty manners. He is walking well on a leash and enjoys rides in the car. He loves going zoomies in the yard. Ching is vaccinated, neutered, 4DX tested and microchipped. He is ready to go to a home with another dog, a cat and children! Apply to adopt Ching at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PAPS/Dog

Story
Koda/Varley came to Pet Search in February 2020 as a 12 week old puppy from St Thomas. He was quickly adopted, but then returned to pet search 6 months later. He was a "different pup... a little apprehensive of men. The foster family worked with Koda on trusting men and he was adopted again in May 2021. Koda was returned to Pet Search again because of issues with men and we have been working diligently with training to get him past this hurdle. Koda is 2.5 years old (birthdate 11/1/19) and can be very loving. He loves women and is very responsive to them, but needs a little time to warm up to a man that is soft spoken and will be patient. Koda is better with female dogs that are passive and a little smaller than him and older children. He is housebroken but will have an accident in his crate sometimes. With patience and understanding, Koda will make a great dog for a single woman or a Couple/family with a quieter lifestyle. Applications can he found at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PAPS/Dog or petsearchpa.org KL#03301 Washington PA 15301

One of our long term foster… Tuna has been with Pet Search for over 4 years! Please share to help him find a home of his own! Tuna is a 5.5 year old lab/terrier mix surrendered by his owner and spent 6 months in the Shelter in St Thomas before coming to Pet Search. He is medium size, weighing around 45 pounds of energy and love! He is neutered, fully vaccinated, 4DX tested and negative and microchipped. He is good with other dogs his size, but prefers female dogs over males and can be a little too high energy for cats and very young children.
