Story
Benny is a local shelter transfer who needed a new area to find his forever home! Benny is a great guy who loves to play and go for walks. He loves toys and to hop around while he plays. He does well with older children who enjoy being able to play with him. He is house trained and enjoys going for outings in the car. Benny is a ham and loves to "sit pretty"! Benny does need a home without cats, as he fixates on them.“I come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. This benefit includes free access to Petcademy’s team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle me into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours (Monday-Friday).”

Story
Description of petHello,I am Porky. I am a sweet boy who gets easily distracted. I've heard the crew here at the shelter talk about squirrel moments but I have no idea what that means. I don't even know what a squirrel is.I like everyone. Other dogs are my friends. I have two favorite things in the world. Wagging my tail because I am always happy and smelling everything. I honestly could sniff the same spot in the yard for hours at a time. Hey, it's what we do.Come see me at the shelter so we can go outside together. I'll show you around to all of my favorite spots.Personality traitsFriendly, Affectionate, Playful, Smart, Loves Kisses

Story
Moose is one of the most gentle and calm dogs I have ever met. He absolutely loves all people and kids, and loves to snuggle and get belly rubs. He mostly likes to lounge all day and gets excited when you get home. He doesn’t bark except when excited by meal time. He is very food motivated which makes him easy to train on different tricks. He gets anxious around other animals, but with humans he is always happy with anyone he meets!

Story
This adorable girl is Genevieve, or Jenny as some have nicknamed her! Sweet Genevieve came into our care as a stray, and has gone unclaimed so it is now time to search for a new home. If you are looking for a playful, active dog to train, and mold into your needs this would be the perfect dog for you. She loves to play with kids, and anyone that will spend time with her. Once she has spent time going for a walk, playing, and working on basic commands she will snuggle up to you for belly rubs. We are unsure of her breed, and while she is an adorable dog she is a little odd looking. Part of her looks Lab, the next part looks Australian Shepherd, or maybe Spaniel, your guess is as good as ours! Genevieve did come to us in rough shape, but after a good bath, skin supplements, and quality food she is on the way to healthier skin, and weight. She definitely needs a home where someone can mentally, and physically stimulate her as she is not a couch potato dog. She currently weighs 35 - 37 pounds, we are aiming for 40 - 45 for a healthy weight, and she is approximately 1 - 3 years old.Genevieve's adoption fee is $200, and she is up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped, current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention, and spay will be scheduled soon.
