Story
PLEASE NOTE! WE ARE A TEXAS-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY IN TEXAS AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO YOUR STATE ONCE ADOPTED. Our application can be found at haydudeequine.org. 🎸 Mick Wagger here... and yes, I rock. Before you ask... yes, I know I'm ridiculously handsome. Between my striking eyes, my one-of-a-kind eye patch, and my adorably floppy ears, I tend to turn a few heads wherever I go. What can I say? I was born to be a star. I'm about 10 months old, weigh around 45 pounds, and my people think I'm a Catahoula/Lab mix. That means I'm smart, athletic, and always up for a good time—but don't worry, I'm not one of those dogs who needs to run a marathon before breakfast. I'd call myself medium energy. I'm just as happy going for a nice walk as I am hanging out with my favorite people afterward. One of my favorite things? Making friends! I love other dogs and have a sweet, easygoing personality that makes me a great companion. Whether we're exploring the neighborhood, playing in the yard, or relaxing at home, I'm simply happy to be part of the fun. I'm still young, so I'm excited to keep learning and discovering the world with my forever family. All I need is a little love, a few treats, and someone willing to tell me what a good boy I am (which, let's be honest, won't be hard). So if you've been looking for a loyal sidekick with rock-star looks and an even bigger heart, your search is officially over. You can't always get what you want... but if you adopt me, you just might find you get exactly what you need. Love, Mick Wagger 🐾🎸

Story
Remy is a beautiful, affectionate 3-year-old looking for a loving forever home. She is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations (with a rabies booster due soon), and weighs about 70 pounds. Remy is a loyal companion who loves people and thrives on being part of the family. She knows basic commands, includingsitandpaw, and never turns down an opportunity to snuggle. Like many large dogs, she can be a little enthusiastic and jumpy when she's excited, so a home with older children is preferred. However, she currently lives with a toddler and has been wonderful with him. She also lives peacefully with cats and enjoys playing with them, having never shown aggression toward them. With other dogs, Remy does best with male dogs and may not be the best match for another female. Remy is searching for a family that will embrace her loving nature, playful spirit, and loyal heart. In return, she'll be a devoted companion ready to share a lifetime of love. Adoption fee:$75 This is a courtesy post. For more information or to inquire about adopting Remy, please contactpaigelucas616@gmail.com. Story
Meet Dipper – The Sweet Little Puppy Who Doesn't Let Anything Slow Him Down Some puppies overcome challenges. Dipper doesn't even realize he has one. This sweet, affectionate boy approaches every day with a happy heart, a wagging tail, and a playful spirit. He loves chasing his siblings, zooming around the yard, exploring new smells, and making new friends. While he was born with a congenital difference in one of his front legs, Dipper doesn't let it define him. To him, life is meant to be enjoyed. He's a gentle, social puppy who is ready to find a family that will love him exactly as he is. Dipper Loves: -Playing with other dogs -Playing with toys -Sniffing and exploring -Zoomies -Napping -Meeting new people -Being with his family -Outdoor playtime Dipper's Favorite Thing: Playing with his siblings. Dipper loves keeping up with the other puppies and happily joins every game he can. Despite his unique leg, he runs, plays, and explores right alongside everyone else. A Special Little Guy: Dipper was born with a congenital defect affecting his right front leg. While he has limited use of that limb, it does not stop him from doing all the important puppy things—running, playing, exploring, and having fun. His foster describes him as a little more mellow and slightly more timid than his brother Dill, but still incredibly friendly and social. He's active and playful but also enjoys relaxing after a busy day. Because of his leg, Dipper will likely be happiest in a home where he has room to run and play at his own pace rather than one looking for a long-distance hiking or running companion. As Dipper grows, it's difficult to predict exactly how his leg will develop. He will likely always walk with a slight limp and may develop arthritis in that leg as he gets older. The good news is that none of this stops him from being a happy, playful puppy today. The director of Tails of Hope-WI will discuss Dipper's condition in greater detail with approved adopters. His adoption fee has also been reduced to help him find the wonderful family he deserves. A Few Things to Know: -Introduced to a potty routine with little to no accidents -Working on crate training introductions -Loves other dogs -Loves children -Cats are unknown but would likely do well based on his friendly temperament -Medium to high puppy energy -Friendly and social -Still a young puppy learning the basics -No behavioral concerns noted -Will benefit from a family committed to obedience training and continued socialization Great Activities for Dipper: -Playing with other dogs -Backyard adventures -Exploring new places -Toy time -Positive training sessions -Family playtime -Zoomies followed by long naps Best Match: -Active families -Family-friendly homes -Adopters committed to training -Families looking for a playful companion who can enjoy life at his own pace Three Words That Describe Dipper Best: ❤️ Sweet ❤️ Playful ❤️ Affectionate Foster Location: Oshkosh, WI Dipper's story began under difficult circumstances. He was born in the back of a car before he and his littermates were brought to safety at just two weeks old. Since then, he's been surrounded by love, care, and every opportunity to grow into the wonderful puppy he is today. His little leg may be different, but Dipper doesn't know he's any different from the other puppies and neither should you. What you'll notice most is his sweet personality, playful spirit, and enormous heart. If you're looking for a special puppy who will fill your home with love, laughter, and endless puppy kisses, Dipper may be the perfect addition to your family. Ready to meet Dipper? He was an abandoned puppy, left to fend for himself. He is slowing learning to trust humans again and is going to be a wonderful addition to the right family. He will need another dog in the home (he loves learning from them). Thomas is starting to learn that toys can be great to play with as until now he has had none. This sweet boy will sleep quietly in his crate and is learning his house training and will take treats from you. He is frightened of the leash so a fenced in yard would be ideal. No small children in the home that would frighten him. We are seeking someone that wears their heart on their sleeve and can see past his timidness.     We are located at S47 W30760 State Road 59, North Prairie, WI As always, we never guarantee the breed OR the size they'll be as an adult. MY ADOPTION FEE is $500.00 We thank you for ADOPTING A HOOVERS HAUSE RESCUE DOG..... every dog adopted allows us to open our homes to save another! Meet Dill – The Big Puppy with an Even Bigger Future Some puppies are happy to sit on the sidelines. Dill is ready to jump right into the fun. This handsome boy is full of confidence, curiosity, and puppy enthusiasm. He's playful, social, and loves everyone he meets. Whether he's chasing after the big dogs, zooming around the yard, or taking a well-earned nap after playtime, Dill lives every day with excitement and joy. He's going to be a big dog—and an even bigger best friend. Dill Loves: * Playing with other dogs * Playing with toys * Zoomies * Being with his people * Meeting new friends * Napping after playtime * Lots of love and attention Dill's Favorite Thing: Playing with the big dogs. A Big Puppy with Big Potential: Dill is expected to grow into a large, active dog, and he's already showing the confidence and energy that will make him an amazing companion for the right family. His foster describes him as the sweetest puppy who loves everyone. He's the most confident and energetic of his litter and will thrive with a family committed to helping him become the wonderful adult dog he's meant to be. Because of his size and energy level, Dill will benefit from consistent obedience training beginning as soon as he joins his forever family.
