All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (if over 2 years old), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet Reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. We do not do same day adoptions. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the dog of your choice. Meet Bruno – Gentle Giant Looking for His Forever Home Bruno is a 2-year-old black Lab mix with a big heart, a bigger smile, and a handsome white patch on his chest. At 110 pounds he's a true gentle giant, and he's as sweet as he is big. Bruno is house-trained, potty trained, and e-collar trained, and so well-mannered on a leash that our 2-year-old son can walk him. He's gentle and affectionate with every person he meets and has been wonderful with our young kids. We love Bruno dearly, and this was not an easy decision. Bruno and our older male dog have gotten into a few fights, leaving our older dog with some cuts, and we've had to physically separate them. With a baby due any day, we can't risk that dynamic getting worse. Bruno is an amazing dog. He just isn't the right match for our current pack. Bruno would do best as the only dog in the home, or possibly with a female dog. If you're looking for a loyal, well-trained, people-loving best friend, Bruno is ready to meet you!

Hi there! While I came with the name Grogu, my foster parents call me Buddy, 'cause that's what I am and that's what I need. Besides, I'm getting a new lease on life so why not try out a new name, too? I was separated from my brother (see below), which is a good thing on SOOOO many levels, but has also left me with a bit of anxiety about being left alone since he was with me from the very start until very recently. I especially don't like being left alone in a crate. I sleep just fine all night long in one when foster mom and dad are in the room with me. I'm just not happy being put there if they have to leave, so I'm taking some medication for that. We all think that when I meet YOU, my forever person/people, I'll settle in and know that I don't need to be worried about moving homes again. It would be great if I could find a home with another dog, but one that is really gentle with me as I can get scared of ones that are dominant. I'm fine in homes with cats, too. I mostly ignore them. Foster mom says I have a big, deep bark but tells people that I really only use it when I'm scared, and they don't need to be. I'm pretty shy meeting new folks, and don't really like sudden movements or loud sounds. Mostly I just want to be with my fosters whether inside or out. I am pretty big, so am not allowed on the furniture at their house, but I would happily crawl on the bed or couch if you let me. Mostly lie at their feet or nearby them. I also like to go for walks. Foster dad takes me on really long ones and I walk well with a Halti/gentle leader on. I also walk pretty well on a regular leash and collar, but I do like to chase after bunnies and squirrels, so its a bit safer for the person walking me if I use a Halti, in case I see one. Foster mom has continued with the training I got from a trainer and I'm pretty good at stay, come, sit and down. I follow commands more happily when treats are involved, but learning to obey them even if they're not. I need to work on "leave it" and "off" a bit more. I don't jump up much on to people but have sometimes if there's yummy food involved, like lots of labs. If you work with me on it, I'll likely learn and behave. I really just want to please a person who is going to love me forever. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Meet the Chocolate Boys! Grogu and his brother Mando were surrendered when their owner developed medical issues and could no longer care for them. Because they were showing signs of littermate syndrome. A strong dependence on one another that can make it difficult for dogs to develop confidence and independence. They went straight into our in-home Board and Train program. We're thrilled to share that they have been successfully separated and are both doing amazing! They will be adopted separately and will be ready to find their forever families soon. Hi, Lab lovers! My name is Riley, and I'm a 5-month-old Lab puppy who loves water and swimming! I live with an older canine foster sister, and we get along great. I respect her space and love joining her for walks. I also had a really fun playdate with Dale, another adoptable L.E.A.R.N. dog, and have done well with the other dogs I've met. I'm friendly with the cat in my foster home, too. He's pretty laid-back and doesn't run from me, so sometimes we just sit together. I also live with teenage boys and get along well with them. I haven't had any potty accidents in my foster home! I don't really give signals when I need to go outside yet, so my foster family keeps me on a regular schedule. I'm excellent in my crate, quiet as a mouse, and sleep through the night in it. I also settle in nicely when my foster parents need to leave. For such a young pup, I have great recall! Like any puppy, I like to explore things with my mouth, but I quickly learned what "drop it" means. I'm still fond of sneaking off with my foster family's shoes, though! On walks, I do nicely with a no-pull harness. I'm looking for a family who will continue my puppy training and give me plenty of opportunities to play, explore, and burn off my puppy energy.
