Story
2 year old spayed yellow lab. Need to rehome because she doesn't get along with our older dog. She loves playing with our younger border collie though. She has been around our young kids and has been great with them. She is trained to use a dog door and knows a couple of tricks.

Story
Meet Jillo! This handsome 9 month -old mixed lab (approx. 80 lbs) is looking for his perfect match. He is house-trained, loves car rides, and is a pro at fetch, but also enjoys quiet evenings snuggled on the couch. Jillo is good with adults and older kids but needs to be the only pet in the home as he can be selective with other dogs. Due to our new lanlord rules , we are heartbreakingly needing to find him a stable, loving home where he can run and play. He is not up-to-date on shots and is not neutered. If you have a yard and can give Jillo the consistent love he deserves.

Story
*** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION, FOSTER, or FOSTER TO ADOPT *** Meet Ricky! He is currently in our P.A.C.K. Program, a 9-week intensive program for routine obedience, agility, and handling training with a prison inmate trainer and he is almost ready to show off his new skills! His new abilities include 'sit', 'wave', 'pray' and more! New adopters should realize that PACK Program graduates will require regular, ongoing reinforcement of learned behaviors in order for them to become permanent. Ricky is a big boy with an even bigger heart. He absolutely loves people and truly aims to please. When playtime rolls around, he turns into a total goofball—especially when a Kong or ball is involved! Ricky is still learning his leash manners, and while it’s a work in progress, he does well when using a Gentle Leader and continues to improve with consistent guidance. He has done very well with female dogs but isn’t always a fan of other males. If he were to have a dog sibling, a female dog would be the best fit, and a meet-and-greet prior to adoption is recommended. Ricky cannot live in a home with cats. Ricky spent quite some time at another shelter in Wyoming, and we’re really hoping his forever family finds him soon. He is such a deserving dog and will make a loyal, loving companion for the right home. He'll graduate towards the end of January and is eager to meet his new paw-rents! Apply to meet Ricky today!

Story
*** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION, FOSTER, or FOSTER TO ADOPT *** Meet Kuma! She is currently enrolled in our P.A.C.K. Program, a 9-week intensive program for routine obedience, agility, and handling training with a prison inmate trainer and she is almost ready to show off her new skills! Her new abilities include 'sit', 'down', 'shake' and more! New adopters should realize that PACK Program graduates will require regular, ongoing reinforcement of learned behaviors in order for them to become permanent. Kuma is like the Energizer Bunny in Labrador form. True to the breed, she’s delightfully puppy-ish and full of life—and that description fits her perfectly! This girl lives for fetch, playtime, and exercise. Kuma is friendly with every dog she’s met and does well sharing her toys. She’s affectionate too, especially when it comes to neck scratches and belly rubs. Once her exercise needs are met, she knows how to relax and chill in the house—but getting that energy out first is key! She is currently on medication to help manage anxiety related to insufficient exercise. We recommend continuing this medication for at least a couple of months after adoption, though it may also be beneficial long-term. Kuma hasn’t always loved her kennel, but she’s made great progress at PACK and has learned that it’s a safe, comfortable space. She has been introduced to cats and seemed to do okay. With proper supervision and continued training, she may be able to live successfully in a home with cats. If you’re looking for an active, loving companion who will keep you moving and then happily snuggle once the day is done, Kuma could be your perfect match! She'll graduate towards the end of January. Apply to meet her today!
