Story
My name is Tootsie. I'm 6 years young and 75 pounds of Anatolian Shepherd, ready to be your fluffy cuddle companion. Even though I am a little older, I have a ton of love to give and am lucky enough to have the chance to share it with you. My puppy days are gone, but that doesn't mean I can't be your forever puppy. I am a working dog, so I am built for longevity. My favorite thing to do is lay on the couch right next to my humans...and then sprawl on the floor when cuddling makes me too warm. I really enjoy being brushed, so maintaining my thick coat isn't tough. Sniffing around the yard at my own pace is my second favorite hobby. Since I enjoy roaming, a fenced in yard is probably best for me, but a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood is nice, too. Walking on a leash doesn't bother me at all, and I've already mastered commands like ""sit,"" ""lay down,"" and ""shake.""I am becoming more and more comfortable with my two canine foster sisters as I am still new to this place, but I will get there soon since they are chill like me. I would enjoy being in a home without other dogs, too, where I can share all of my love with my people. I love all the humans I've met so far (mostly bigger kids and adults). I don't think I've ever met a cat, so it might be best to stay away from those. True to my breed, I sometimes guard things from other animals but will share my space once I'm comfortable. If you think you can be my forever family, I would love the opportunity to share my big dog love with you. I am house trained, crate trained, and ready to begin a new chapter in my life with you!--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.
