Oh, hi! I’m Belgian Waffle and I am so excited to tell you a little about me! Do you know where Alabama is? That’s where I was born, but only lived there for a few days. My mom, my siblings and I came to Minnesota where we would be safe. Living with six siblings is a little crazy, so I’m excited to find a family that I can call my own! Here are a few things about me:-If I had to describe myself, I’d say that I’m a “go with the flow” kind of girl.-My favorite thing about myself is my ears!-I’m the perfect companion.Those are just a few things about me. If you came to meet me, I could show you so much more! I’d love for you to come and see for yourself that I could be the perfect dog for you! --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. He barks when he needs your attention; only when he needs your attention or theres other people with you. He is people friendly. I don't know about his standings other animals, like other cats or dogs, but I'm guessing he'll be fine with other animals! He is working on his house and leash training, and can be a little stubborn about getting around on leash. He can be a little shy in new situations.

We have had him for six weeks and he was very shut down when he came to us, but has blossomed into such a sweet and affectionate boy. He is fearful of new people, and warms up to females, but he takes much longer to warm up to men and will need additional training to build trust with men. Butch is an anxious boy who is regularly taking anxiety medication and needs patience and additional training to build his confidence and help him settle in. He is a big hunk of love, weighing in at 88 lbs. He is dog-friendly, we have one resident dog and others have come to play. He is crate and house trained, calm, sweet and attaches quickly to his person. He would prefer to be near you at all times. He's a big fan of stuffed toys, bones and he LOVES cheese. He's pretty respectful of boundaries and gates and has very nice house manners. Butch is not bold but he is loyal. He wants to be loved and a part of the family and after you build initial trust he'll do his best to be brave for you. He is a flight risk, having a fenced in yard will help immensely. If not, be sure to be intentional about double leashing and having a secure hold. He will have training support post adoption from the rescue to help him gain confidence and aid in relationship building with his new family. Butch will make a wonderful addition to your life - he is a big goofy sweetheart looking for a secure and stable home where he can shine.

River is a sweet, but very shy pup. She loves cheddar cheese for treats, and might even be persuaded to take it from your hand. She loves to chew on her Benebone, and maybe any bed or blanket you place in her kennel. She startles at loud noises, so a calm, quieter house would be best for her. She has attempted to peak out to the living room, but startles with my loud resident dogs. She will use a pee pad and will potty outside when she can be persuaded to go outside. She is doing well with being let out around every 3-4 hours. She would need a fenced in yard due to being a flight risk. She is cat friendly and gets along with dogs with a slow introduction. She really is the sweetest girl.

Hi, my name is Luna and I am an adorable young lady. I love to run in the backyard with my foster siblings. One is a Great Dane and the other is a Frenchie. I get along with both. I have met other dogs that have come to visit my house and I enjoy following them around to learn what dogs of all sizes do. I love every human I meet. My foster mom says I am so friendly and I get so excited when a new person walks in the house. My foster mom thinks the bonus of my food obsession will be that I will enjoy training because I am extremely treat motivated. I am learning that finding food will never be a problem again so I like to eat by myself so another dog does not steal it. My foster mom puts my food bowl in my kennel and I am able to eat my food without worry. I have not had one accident in the house which is so impressive. I do a great job in my kennel which my foster mom says is a good skill to have. So many people want Great Danes but do not think that size dog will work in their homes. I think I’m perfect because I am a “smaller version” with a Great Dane personality. I would love a home that loves me as much as I love them.
