Story

Serenity is 5 years old. I have had her since she was 8 weeks old so we are very close. She has never lived anywhere else and is leary of strangers . She may take a while to warm up to them but is gentle and affectionate once she gets used to them. She is puppy pad and doggy door trained. Serenity loves to be outside and enjoys going on walks and riding in the car. I have multiple dogs so she is used to being around other dogs. I am experiencing health issues which makes it hard for me to care for all of my animals. This is why I am looking to rehome some of them. I am also re homing a second one of my dogs named juliet. I would prefer that serenity and juliet be rehomed together. Serenity prefers individual attention and would do best with an owner who has time and energy to spend with her.

Juliet is a pure bred Lhasa Apso. I have had her since she was a puppy. She is mild mannered and easy to get along with. She likes to snuggle and sit with me while I watch TV. She has been raised with other dogs , so is used to them. She has never been around children or cats. She is protective and leary of strangers but is a real sweetheart once she warms up to you. Juliet has an abdominal hernia from when she was a puppy. The vet says it does not need to be surgically corrected. She is seven years old. I have several dogs but am facing medical issues and am finding it difficult to care for them. I am trying to find good homes for both her and my other Lhasa, Serenity. Ideally I would like for them to be adopted together.

Meet Carrie Underbark! She is a two-year-old Lhasa Apso/Terrier mix who was found as a stray and brought to a high kill shelter where she was adopted and returned 13 hours later because the resident dog and cat were bullying her. We can see how this would occur as she is shy, gentle, easygoing and so so so loving. Carrie Underbark enjoys other dogs and would likely get along with cats as she is extremely adaptable to her environment. She loves kids and cuddle time. Carrie lounges in the couch most of the day and snuggles up to her person at night. She was likely left outside most of her life as she was very scared to enter our home through the back door and even cowered. She was also covered in ticks and not taken care of. We think a slower paced home who can help bring her out of her shell would be ideal for her. She is very afraid of walking on a leash and tends to freeze so we are working with her :) she also needs a little help with potty training which we are also doing. She is a great in a crate and great in the car. When left alone she is very well behaved and just lays in her doggy bed.
