INTRODUCING MR. FINNEAS….(Finn or Finny to his close friends and family), and a kinder, handsomer, sweeter tri colored, 2-3 yr old, 18 lb, Lhasa Apso you won’t find anywhere!! We have absolutely fallen hard for this wonderful boy! Finneas is kissy, loving, attentive, “probably” potty trained (no guarantees at your house), quiet, cuddly and affectionate. We can’t say enough about this loverboy.
Finneas came to us from the Palmdale Animal Shelter with a horrible case of pneumonia and was sick for almost a month. Despite being very ill, he ate like a champ, snuggled like a baby and went for walks like he was 100% healthy…except for that horrible cough 🙁 Now that he has been groomed and is all better, Finneas is acting like a puppy! Loves to play, chase after toys (but we’re working on what to do once he gets them!) and engage with others — whether they are people or other dogs. Finny loves everyone! He is well socialized and his favorite thing to do with you is get his belly rubbed!! That, and show you all his appreciation for caring for him.
This is a special boy and we really want him to go to a special home. IDEALLY, that would be a family with kids over 5+, a home with a yard, parents who work from home and/or don’t leave him alone for hours…and a canine companion who he can fun around with. We can dream!! This isn’t the only scenario we would consider, but two out of three elements would be very appreciated. He doesn’t have separation anxiety, but he is the kind of dog you want to be with you to go on errands…to sports events…brunch on Sunday…he’s your “go to” guy. So Cal adoption only. Does Finneas sound like a pup you could love for life? Let us know!
Our website is updated daily. Please do not apply for this dog unless your home fits the specified criteria. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, groomed, vet checked, dewormed, deflea'd and come with a leash, collar and ID

Lhasa Happy Homes will be now holding our adoption events the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month on Main Street in Santa Monica (check calendar link below for special events and directions). Our event is located at 2116 Main Street, in Santa Monica, CA. Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household. Main Street is famous for its innovative shops and is close to the beach! Make a day of it!! Metered parking on the street and free parking on 4th and Bicknell Streets.
Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household....and do some fantastic shopping at the same time! Please do call us if you are coming to see a particular dog to make sure he/she will be at adoptions (we do not bring sick dogs to our adoption events). Please bring pictures or video of your home and yard if we have not done a home check (preferred)! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!
