Story
Meet Coco – Your Snuggle Sidekick & Carpool Companion! He is an 11-year-old Lhasa Apso/Cocker Spaniel mix with the heart of a puppy and the soul of a best friend. After sadly losing his beloved humans, Coco is now looking for a new forever family to love—and he's ready to steal your heart (and your lap)! Coco is the definition of a companion dog. He wants nothing more than to be by your side—on the couch, in the car, or curled up at your feet. He's house-trained, loves to snooze in bed with his foster mom, and is a rockstar on daily walks. Don't be fooled by his age—this little guy is spry and peppy, especially when he knows it's time for a treat. And talk about charm—Coco recently had a few teeth pulled, so now his adorable little tongue sticks out, giving him a one-of-a-kind smile that'll melt you on the spot. He's fantastic with other dogs and happy flying solo if you're looking for a one-and-only. Coco also gets along well with gentle kiddos, making him a great match for a calm family home. His only special request? Daily eye drops for dry eyes, which he takes like an absolute champ—no fuss, no drama. Just a good boy being even more good. • Ideal home: Someone home most of the time • Car rides: YES, please—shotgun is his spot • Good with kids: Yep! • Good with other dogs: Totally • Loves to snuggle? Of course • Eye drops? Easy-peasy Coco is easygoing, affectionate, and always ready for love. Whether it's cuddling, walking, or just hanging out, this sweet guy is all in. If you want to give Coco the best golden years, put in an application today! If you are interested in adopting, please visit the I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue website and complete an adoption application: www.icaredogrescue.org/ready-to-adopt Adoption fee includes: spay/neuter • shots up to date • micro-chip • fecal and vet check Breeds and age are not guaranteed. Story
Meet Carrie Underbark! This sweet two-year-old Lhasa Apso/Terrier mix may be small in size, but she’s got a heart full of love to give. Carrie has already shown incredible resilience—after being found as a stray and briefly adopted from a shelter, she’s now safe in foster care and ready to find a forever family that will truly appreciate her gentle spirit. Carrie is a mellow, affectionate girl who thrives in a calm, loving environment. She adores other dogs, is likely cat-friendly, and is especially fond of kids and cuddle time. Her favorite things? Lounging on the couch during the day and snuggling up with her person at night. While she’s still working on her confidence—like learning how to walk on a leash and navigate new doors—she’s making progress every day with gentle guidance. Carrie is crate-trained, rides beautifully in the car, and is perfectly content relaxing in her doggy bed when left alone. She’s also working on her potty training and would do best in a patient home that can help her blossom at her own pace. With a little time and a lot of love, Carrie Underbark is sure to become the most loyal, loving companion you could ever dream of. Story
Sweet Rascal is an energetic and loving 10 month old puppy who was rescued after being found as a stray. He was covered in motor oil and seriously matted when he was found. But he was groomed and is loving life in his foster home. He loves to play fetch! He gets along with other dogs and cats, too.

Story
Juliet is a pure bred Lhasa Apso. I have had her since she was a puppy. She is mild mannered and easy to get along with. She likes to snuggle and sit with me while I watch TV. She has been raised with other dogs , so is used to them. She has never been around children or cats. She is protective and leary of strangers but is a real sweetheart once she warms up to you. Juliet has an abdominal hernia from when she was a puppy. The vet says it does not need to be surgically corrected. She is seven years old. I have several dogs but am facing medical issues and am finding it difficult to care for them. I am trying to find a good home for her.

Story
Welcome Niko! We rescued him from a shelter where he entered as a stray. We are guessing he is about 2 years old and he weighs 19 pounds. Niko is just delightful. So friendly and loves people. He is also good around other dogs. He is not in a foster home so we don’t know his behavior in a home or if he is house trained. As we get to know him better we will update his listing. If you are interested in meeting Nico, we must have an adoption application first. Please complete it on our website www.greatpets.org. Nico’s $300 adoption donation covers his vet, examination, neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchip,July 6, 2025, 12:21 pm
