About Me
Meet Winston, your soon-to-be best friend and loyal shadow. This sweet, happy boy is always ready to start the day by your side—he’ll get up when you do, tail wagging and eager for whatever comes next. Winston loves his morning routine: a quick trip outside, breakfast, and then a walk or some relaxed lounging. He’s a great walking buddy, sticking right by your side and enjoying the sights and sounds of the neighborhood (especially when he can watch the world go by from a comfy spot outside).
Winston is food-motivated and will happily show off his spins, sits, and lay-downs for a treat. He’s a gentle soul who loves his toys—especially his stuffed bear and pickle—and will dig through his toy box to find just the right one. He’s not the most interactive player yet, but he’s learning and might surprise you as he settles in.
He’s happiest when he’s close to his people, whether you’re working in the garden or winding down for the night. Winston likes to sleep near his humans, but he’s also content in his own space if needed. He’s friendly with dogs, cats, and considerate older children, making him a great fit for many families.
Winston is still working on his potty training and will need a patient adopter willing to help him continue learning. He’s making progress with crate training and is starting to understand the routine, but he’ll need positive reinforcement and encouragement as he builds confidence. Loud noises and new situations can make him a bit sheepish—he may hide behind your legs or get low to the ground when he’s unsure—but with love and reassurance, he’ll blossom.
